Unreliable authentication technology that actively blocks legitimate users
BioSig-ID is one of the most unreliable authentication technologies I’ve ever come across. Ever.
In practice, it repeatedly fails to recognize legitimate users, locking people out of systems they are authorized to access. There is little to no meaningful fallback, which turns “security” into a denial-of-service problem for real humans trying to do real work.
This isn’t an edge-case failure — it’s a core functionality issue. Authentication software should err on the side of secure but usable. BioSig-ID instead introduces unnecessary friction, false rejections, and operational disruption without delivering a commensurate benefit.
This system is a liability, not a safeguard.
If your organization is considering BioSig-ID as a gatekeeper for critical systems (especially financial, operational, or time-sensitive workflows), proceed with extreme caution. Based on firsthand experience, this technology creates more problems than it solves.

A horrible product! I spent three hours just trying to log on to finish a course. Just terrible. There must be some other reason why this hasn't been replaced by something that make sense. Whose product is this?

I spent three hours and over 100…
I spent three hours and over 100 attempts to get GARBAGE BIOSIGN to let me in to complete a 1 hour course. That's one hour for the course and 3 hrs for biosign. 4 hrs total.. If GARBAGE BIOSIGN is supposed to confirm that the person is real, then how can the same person sign on GARBAGE BIOSIGN over 100 times and they cant figure out that its the same person. Ultimately it was my 10 year old that got it to work. BIOSIGN is a FARSE a does not even deserve a BBB Rating. ....They are a FARSE. Rating C- It does not work!

SUCKS!!!!!!!!
If i could give this system a negative review i would. system is terrible and extremely frustrating to use. system never recognizes password verifications and has personally made NMLS renewal an absolute nightmare. takes HOURS to get system to work.

The worst
Worst System in the world for validating yourself if there’s another person that comes on all they have to do is restart and they can finish that. I have spent well over 300. Yes you heard me 300 times trying to connect the dots so that I can sign on the bio sign. It’s a disgrace and you should be sued

I wish I could make this zero stars this app makes me take 20 min re drawling my password I always have to reset it. I never had such a difficult app and the drawling pad sucks never able to draw smoothly always skipping lines so i got to clear it and restart all over again. I can't believe this is what I have to work with since it mandatory in my college.

Hate Hate Hate it!!! Impossible!!!
I just completed my annual mortgage CE classes and once again had to deal with this Biosig-ID everytime I log in. It is harder than the actual course itself! It is terrible. I find it near impossible to draw with such perfection using a mouse. I don't use the mouse for precision strokes (and probably most people don't) so it is very difficult to recreate the exact strokes needed to recreate the password. On my 12 hour course I probably wasted 2 hours with this crap. Please go away!

Hi John,
Most users validate their BioSig-ID password in 7 seconds or less.
If you are taking longer than that to complete a successful validation you should reach out to the NMLS BioSig-ID support department as this is not the regular experience for most users.

This system is by far the worst and dumbest means to verify identity ever. NO ONE draws letters or numbers using a mouse with any consistency.
This application is a complete joke & waste of time.
to validate my opinion i have asked 5 random employees to go online and try to validate there id using the test id verification found on their web site.
GUESS WHAT !! AFTER 30 MINUTES NONE OF THE EMPLOYESS WAS ABLE TO VERIFY THE ORIGINAL CODE THEY PUT INTO THE BIOSIG-ID.COM DEMO.
ALL OF THEM HAVE MASTERS DEGREES & ONE WITH A doctorate.
Total crap Worthless junk . Anyone purchasing this solution is in for a lot of pissed off users and a huge amount of wasted time.
