We are a smaller non-profit and not only was Blackbaud way too much for us, but it was difficult to use and understand and the support was not helpful. It is crazy expensive and when we wanted out of the contract is was hard. Even paying our bill was difficult. Not a fan.

A donor tried giving money through BlackBaud, but BlackBaud said there was a problem with our account. We tried resolving the issue following their instructions, but the instructions were inaccurate and vague. We used their chatbot, help articles, and customer service phone number, but we could never find accurate information or speak to a real person. We were often sent to pages that we were not allowed to access. We have spent more money on staff salaries trying to resolve this problem than we will receive from the donation.

They overcomplicated payment flow, which is mostly impossible to do. For each school year, customers needs to add the same bank account again and again.

Also, rude customer support (agent Carlos to be specific).

Its anoying to work with, it stops working like every other week, and it’s really hard to work with

My school uses this platform to update on assignments and for grades. In previous years, we have used Google Classroom, which was significantly better because it notifies teachers of late assignments and does not sign you out of your account every time you get on.

There were no five stars so i'm just being nice.

Zero stars on a day like this, when the platform is down all day and a school can't take attendance or post assignments, in addition to many other basic school functions.

Amount of glitches in it impossible. Customer service was not able to help as it is very poor quality software JUST NOT WORKING!

Total rip-off. I made a £150 donation to a cancer charity but Blackbaud charged me £13.50 'Processing Support" for the privilege. I tried to opt out of this but they took the money anyway. I did not consent to this in any way. I'm shocked, quite frankly. I'll be taking this up with my credit card company.

A terrible company that overpromises and never delivers and will lie at the drop of the hat.

Horrible! Absolutely horrible!! I have a customer that uses this terrible service. It is broken and the customer asks me to help. I can't raise a ticket with these clowns because I don't have an account! How ridiculously insular. That is NOT customer service! And it is an ignorant business model!

Sucks, logs out

Have been using their database system etapestry for 5 years now and it is becoming more painful with each update. Not user friendly at all!

If you visit their website, their chat bot does not allow you to raise a question!

One of their updates protected every pdf report you generate! So not you can not hightlight line items or add comments to the file. You have to print and do it manually. Again what a pain, waste of time and bad for the environment!

I recently migrated my company's database to the clous version - RE NXT. We had great customer service but there were minor errors with incorrect URLs and it taking a bit longer than expected. Luckily the chat support helped fix the majority of our problems within a day. Really happy with our products and end result.
