Blueberry Travels Reviews 

This was not exactly a holiday that I anticipated infact more like holiday from hell. I met Blueberry Travels in August 2020 and decided to book a holiday to Maldives but unfortunately we had to cancel it due to Maldives put into red list.

I then rebook this holiday for October 2021 with James and his team. They have come across initially very nice however, I do call them time to time to keep in touch but never actually get a call back from them. So we went to Maldives and as soon as we arrive there we have been loaded with fined due excess baggage luggage allowances. We have been told by BA that we can carry up to 23kg of suitcase per person however when we arrived in Maldives according to charter flight TMA we can only carry 20kg hence we had to pay a fine. Next the local charter flight was delayed by 2 hours and to make matters worse from bad to worse even though we paid the baggage allowances out luggage as were left over by the TMA due to weight restrictions. This is all happened due to Blueberry Travels lack information hence we paid the fine. So after all that the luggage did came to us 8pm the same day and we were any clothes without it since 1pm. After I called Blueberry I didn’t get any assurances what so ever infact asked me to contact my insurance services to claim the excess luggage fee.

James and his team did nothing to solve the problem as we also found out the resort is only 80% ready and looks nothing what it was advertised or sent the pictures! We then contact the resort representatives and also the resort manager. They were amazingly helpful and organised a boat to see the nearby island to see whether we liked their property. However there were no private pool hence we went against it as we paid for the pool.

I also noticed that after having numerous conversations with James I didn’t get any positive vibes for him and also noticed he was swearing in the phone as he was quite angry with the resort. I found him extremely unprofessional and not helpful.

We had to have number of meetings with the resort manager to show us other properties and we had to change property with the good help of the resort manager but nothing to do with Blueberry Travels! They actually never send anyone to resort to check the condition of it before they send out their costomers! I also asked the resort manager and never recalled their name or existence.

So on our return we asked to complete the passenger locator form with IMUGA download to Maldivian website plus online checking however? There’s a guy called Justin who appeared to be helpful but when I ended most he never returned back and we had to sit down and do all the paperwork by ourselves with also once again help of the resort representatives!

This is all on all a worse kind of holiday experience I had not to mention the type of holiday makers we we encountered!

I would never use Blueberry Travels again as they do not have any knowledge of what we wanted and sold us a holiday. Just be mindful of it next time you book any holidays with them!!

Organising a holiday during a pandemic is far from straightforward and we had lots of reservations going ahead with it, but we're so glad we did!

James was phenomenal, he was so patient with us and took the time to answer all of our questions and he also kept finding lots of options for us until we found exactly what we were looking for (even though it was quite late when we called!)

Even when there was a small hiccup (one of the hotels had decided that we could not go straight there from the airport despite being SHA+...!) James was fantastic at re-assuring us and, crucially, got it sorted immediately for us.

James was very honest and upfront about all the costs involved, and the fees were all very reasonable.

Eddie and Alex were also fantastic, calling us up to keep us informed and to make sure that we had everything ready.

I can't recommend Blueberry travels team and especially James highly enough.

Excellent service from start to finish. Blueberry travels listened to the requirements we wanted for our holiday and we’re able to accommodate them with some great deals! They then kept in touch throughout with updated invoices etc and also with assistance providing Covid test information/requirements for each country. I would definitely use again and would highly recommend.

We booked our latest trip to the Maldives with Bluebury Travel after we were let down by a competitor, We were a little apprehensive at first, but our reservations were unfounded. The overall service we received was excellent and our holiday went better than we could have expected. Everything they said we would receive, we did receive. We had nothing at all that we could complain about and would defiantly recommend them to everyone. we stayed at the Medifushi island resort in a over water bungalow (137) it was absolutely fantastic from arriving to leaving we were well looked after so well done to Bluebury travel. We will be in touch for our next holiday. Well done James, Jerry and Boris at Bluebury sales team. this is not a 9-5 travel agent we were contacted sometimes at 11pm at night with answers to any questions we had too.

It was a really gud to have ppl offering various options and helping out as quick as they could... Big Thank you Betty, she was amazing and helped me resolve my holiday issue within 24hours... I could not decide wat to do and then she listed at least 5 different options... I only had to pick my choice... and I did... Thanks Betty..

I have just returned from my holiday..and I wanted to thank Blueberry Travels especially Samantha that worked hard in interpreting our needs in order to have best holiday experience ever. She was with us every step of the way❤ they even completed our check in for flights and that all our documents were in order...this to me was very impressive.
Our holiday in Maldives was what we wanted peaceful and relaxful. I had asked for water villa on sunset side and Samantha managed to achieve this too. We had all inclusive which for us was the best choice for the A La Cart Restaurant and our free choices of wines and cocktails. All our connections flight, speedboat was all perfectly timed and we didnt have to wait much on airports either. Luggage also no hassle picked up all at destination. The best was the complete assurance that you were never alone and that Blueberry Travels/Samantha was at hand throughout holiday and journey. I will be writting a seperate review on Air France as the out journey was not the best, but return journey was excellent. Also will be writting seperate review for Summer Island regarding their all inclusive and management team.
I 'am now happy to search for my new venture with Blueberry Travels/Samantha as now I have tried and tested and they have my complete trust in getting best holiday deal in the market.

After booking a holiday to Vegas August 2019 for August 2020 and it was cancelled I chnaged our holiday to New York, after a lot of chopping and changing on my part and mothering the life out of Justin he has gone above and beyond to help me with anything I've thrown at him, I would definitely book another holiday with blueberry travels and definitely ask for Justin

I had a geeat experience with Blueberry Travels. I found them online and sent an email after not being able to find the right flight to Brazil. I was pleased with the prompt response from Eddie. Eddie was very professional and very helpful. He took great care in finding the right ticket at the right price for me. We booked a trip to the Maldives in January 2021 for October 2021.
Qatar changed our flights on numerous occasions but Justin kept us informed and managed to get us good flight equivalents.
Then the day we were due to go our pcr test results didn't come in time.
Justin was there completing our locator forms for us whilst we dashed to Heathrow in the rush hour getting extra tests done.
Blueberry Travel have been great, good deal on the holiday too.

Are you looking at the reviews and thinking this is too good to be true?. I can guarantee you this is true. I booked my holiday two years ago and then Covid came along. When I first started looking I came across Blueberry on Facebook. The deal was amazing, but I was very skeptical. I looked them up on here, companies house and instantly thought I'm going to give them a go. Well I'm so glad I did. These guys are amazing!. Professional, very helpful supportive and nothing was a problem. I go away twice a year in normal circumstances and I have never come across such amazing customer service. Communication has been outstanding and they even check in with you regularly and take care of checking your flight in and doing the locator forms for you. They took alot of stress away from me. If your looking to book a holiday then I promise once you use these guys you won't go anywhere else, because I'm certainly not!. They don't just treat you like a customer They treat you like your there friends!.

Having hesitated and never used Blueberry I'm absolutely so pleased I took the plunge and trusted them to handpick our perfect honeymoon. Having used a streamlined operator previously for over 16yrs, I'll never now use anyone else. Professional, efficient, flexible and competitive are just a few of their qualities and advantages. Crystal was able to collate options to meet our needs. I'd forgotten having used main stream providers how customer service is often forgotten and a low priority. Blueberry Travels have restored faith in that there are professional, friendly and helpful people out there. I'd recommend them in a heart beat. Don't hesitate, trust these guys, they're great.
