Thankyou Blue Earth Clean for inventing such a wonderful way to do my washing! The leaves have a delicate scent to them and if my clothes are particularly dirty I just add an extra 'leaf' into my washing machine. My clothes occasionally waft of the scent as they dry and the cleaning aspect is great. If you are not fussed with strong smelling clothes (artificial) then I recommend these leaves for you!

Worked well
Surprised with how well these worked, used to clean a coat and was pleasantly surprised when it came out of the washer and the grease mark on the cuff had gone. I will definitely be repurchasing

Was not impressed at all smelt nice when the washing finished and was wet but as soon as it was dry no smell and the clothes were not soft will not be buying again

At the moment, we do not add microbes to our formulation and these are needed to retain fragrance on fabric. Watch this space as a new improved scented formulation is coming soon.

I was really impressed with how well it cleaned. I have done 3 loads so far . Clothes felt soft without softener. I would prefer a little more fragrance, however the Clothes smell fresh .
Definitely a change i am going to commit to.
I am looking forward to trying the dishwasher one's.

Sadly not a product for us
Sadly not a product for us. Seemed to wash well enough, but within minutes of bringing the package into the house my eyes were stinging - apparently from the very strong scent, so had to wrap it in plastic to keep it contained! The strong scent washed out and clothes didn’t smell of it after line drying, but eye irritation started again on airing out in the house and wearing dressing gown again after drying seemed to irritate my skin. So we love the eco credentials ( no plastic, compact storage etc) , but can’t use these sheets on a regular basis. Unscented ones were not available when I ordered the trial pack, but the problem is apparent not just the scent.

Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to leave a review. This does not sound like a very good experience,
With regards to the fragrance, our leaves contain only 0.5%, however due to the leaves being in a concentrated form, they can appear stronger on opening than they actually are.
Blue earth clean sheets are not encapsulated, which means most of the fragrance will completely disappear in the wash, after cleaning. Microbes would need to be added to the formulation in order to leave a fragrance after the wash (help cling fragrance to fabrics -like our capsule counterparts). We didn't want to do this. Instead we choose to concentrate on enzymes and soap concentrate to wash.
It does sound however, that you were sent the first batch of our leaves before we changed fragrance supplier. Subsequent batches have a more subtle fragrance. It sounds as if we may have inadvertently sent you the first.
I would like to apologise and send you a replacement free of charge. We are constantly working to improve the cleaning properties of our products in the most eco friendly way possible.

Good but not quite what they seem…

However, I’ve only given them 3 Stars because of what I later found out was in them!!! - these are not the earth clean marketed they contain chemicals!! Having looked on the their website and read the ingredients these two elements stood out and following research are tasty chemicals; “ parfum [contains hexyl cinnamaldehyde,2-(4-tert-butylbenzyl) propionaldhyde…” Even the “…hyde” should ring alarm bells. So no, I won’t be subscribing and found another brand that contains no nasties!

Thank you for leaving a review. We are sad to hear you weren't impressed with the leaves. We do have an unfragranced version of the Laundry sheets - perhaps you would like to try this?
We take the greatest care in the choice of our raw materials to guarantee the effectiveness of formulations, whilst ensuring the minimum impact on health and the environment. Our philosophy is the precautionary principle: if a material is suspected or decried it is simply prohibited.
The formulae for our products aim to get the right balance between science, efficiency, and respect for the environment.
They are eco-friendly for the following reasons:
- They exclude a long list of controversial raw materials, because we know, that they can have a negative impact on health (allergens, proven endocrine disruptors, carcinogens etc ...).
- They are economical in raw materials, with the most concentrated formula on the market (only 3.6 grams per wash!)
- They are formulated to be free of microplastics, vegan, fully biodegradable and are not tested on animals
- They are delivered in packaging, which is 100 % plastic-fee.
Our formulations are incredibly concentrated as they contain little/no water to minimise CO2 transport emissions. Their concentration puts them under specific EU label requirements and that is why our list of ingredients includes components of the fragrance used in our fragranced based laundry leaf.
If we supplied the laundry leaves diluted (like many other liquids with fillers) they would not fall into this category – you would however have to use more liquid per wash and our carbon footprint would increase. Once they are diluted in your machine and back out in the environment, they are classified as harmless.

Great product, but unable to Contact
I previously purchased the detergent sheets through a third party and loved them, so signed up for a subscription direct. My order arrived 10 days ago, it was unfrangranced (which I did not purchase) and after attempts to contact via email, the form on the website and phone (The number did not work) I have had no response. Very disappointed as the product I tried previously was great, but the customer service has not been very responsive
