Blue Lanka excelled from the planning stage to the final goodbye. Their managing director Dinesh responded immediately to our request for guidance putting together a 17-day tour, and we were thrilled with the itinerary put together by Himaya. She took on board our interests and compiled a brilliant tour with all we wanted and a lot more we hadn't realised could be possible! Our guide Rushan (Shan) da Silva was attentive, knowledgeable and a very careful driver, and he has a great sense of humour! We can't rate Blue Lanka highly enough.

We were recommended by a friend to use Blue Lanka Tours for our trip to Sri Lanka, and we have no regrets. Everything from booking to our travel experience went very smoothly. It was very convenient to have everything paid for in advance.

Our guide, MR. Eban Hannan, met us at the airport, and from the moment we met, we felt a great connection and that he was a very pleasant person to have with us on the trip. He was constantly attentive, making sure we were comfortable and that we didn’t forget anything as we moved around so much.

Everything was new and exciting, and the nature is so beautiful that you are completely captivated. One of the most beautiful places we’ve seen. Highlights like Lion Rock, the safari, Nuwara Eliya with its tea plantations, and the train ride to Ella must be mentioned.

We must also mention the people we met along the way. We were warmly welcomed by everyone, and the kindness and hospitality were truly wonderful. The hotel Amba Yaalu in Sigiriya/Dambulla, with only female employees, is one we would like to highlight. A lovely place with lovely staff. We noticed that the hotel was used for training and that they still had a bit to learn, but this was overshadowed by how warmly we were received.

It will take time to digest everything we’ve experienced, and we’ve taken hundreds of photos—great memories to look back on. We especially want to thank Hannan for a fantastic trip. His explanations and information about the various places were crucial to the great experience. His kindness and thoughtfulness were impeccable, and it was truly touching when we stopped by his hometown and received food and fruit his wife had prepared, delivered by his son.

Lastly, we must also thank the driver who safely guided us through traffic that, to us Norwegians, seemed quite wild. We would never have managed to drive ourselves.

Just back from the most incredible trip to Sri Lanka! had been as a teenager but now with a young family, I didn't know where to start with the planning of a tour which takes in all the best sights in two weeks. Blue Lanka was such a find and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a proper guided tour. Big shout out to Prakash Keerthy who was our guide. Prakash was so kind and knowledgeable and clearly very proud to show off his country. Nothing was too much of a problem for him and he happily made changes to our itinerary to suit our youngest who found it all a bit too hot at times! The trip was a joy from start to finish. highly recommend Blue Lanka for their friendliness and professionalism and if you book with them, be sure to ask for Prakash, you will not be disappointed!

We just ended a wonderful trip to Sri Lanka. It was very easy to book the trip through Blue Lanka and they had great recommendations of things we should do that I wouldn’t have found on my own. We really enjoyed the full service help. Our driver, Prakash, was wonderful and made sure we were happy and taken care of. He was flexible to make sure our childrens’ needs were met. He also had the most comfortable van we have been in and it made all the driving we did much more enjoyable. He was also very knowledgeable about Sri Lanka and we learned about some history, wildlife, culture and plants. He was also a fantastic photographer and we got so many family photos we usually have a harder time getting when we travel.

. We were 10 days in tailor made tour with BLUE LANKA TOURS organisation. . The planning with Reshani was very fast, and efficient. Her suggestions were helpful. Every accommodation was perfect, and also the sights, the tours.(Negombo, Kandy, Kitulgala white water rafting, train journey to Ella, Mineriya and Yale national parks. And our guide , SANJEEWA was highly the best in our experience. Very helpful, polite, perfect knowledge about the sights, particularly nature, wildlife and historical sights. He solved all the difficulties during the trip, he and also the agency was very flexible. They attend for all details. Very memorable tour. So , highly recommend BLUE LANKA TOURS.

We booked them after reading some wonderful online reviews. And we have to admit, it was the best decision we took.
The tour was one of the best arranged tours we have been on ever, and that's saying something(seen over 50 countries). Our guide(Mr Chamila) and his team of driver/helper are the most lovely people on this planet. Not once did they force their agenda on us, nor did they show a wrong note. They encouraged us to do anything we asked for, and were the most hospitable people we have been associated on any tour's undertaken so far. I am writing this review from the airport while departing SL, so you can imagine how fulfilling this trip was. All thanks to Blue Lankan tours and Mr Chamila.

If you are reading this, don't hesitate for a second, book them and you'll thank me later in life.

We are a retired couple, living mostly in Hong Kong. We have travelled a lot but had never been to Sri Lanka.
We booked a variation of the 8-day Blue Lanka classic tour (covering Dambulla, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Yala & Galle) with some additional R&R in a beach villa in Mirissa.

Blue Lanka were a pleasure to deal with from our first inquiry; making helpful suggestions and responding promptly, including to our requests to upgrade some of the initially suggested hotels. Twice during our tour staff called direct to ensure we were happy. We were also delighted with the surprise High Tea they arranged for us in Newara Eliya. The tour was very good value for money.

Our driver/guide, Manjula Mudalige ("Manju") was outstanding. Ever cheerful, friendly and very sincere, Manju is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Sri Lanka, and a good communicator, as well as being an excellent, safe driver. Manju was always on time and the car was kept immaculately clean. It was a pleasure getting to know Manju and learning more about his family. We could not have asked for a better guide for our first Sri Lankan visit.

Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with a range of interesting landscapes from the tea plantations near Nuwara Eliya, the majestic hills of Ella, the bush country of Yala or the beaches of the south and south west, The people are so friendly and welcoming. We will return.

Booked a tour of Sri Lanka through Blue Lanka Tours. They were very thorough and flexible from the beginning. Booked us great hotels and created a wonderful itinerary based on our preferences. There are people who prefer touch and go at every location. We preferred to stay and enjoy at one place for longer. Blue Lanka will create an itinerary based on your preference. They assigned us our guide Mr. Chanaka Coorey. He was brilliant and frinedly. The car was comfortable. Compared to the US, the drive in Sri Lanka requires a lot of overtaking which we got used to by the end of the first day. Chanaka found us some great places to eat and hidden gems on the routes. The safaris we did were wonderful and full of wildlife. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with amazing landscapes, rich history and wonderful beaches. The people are kind and welcoming. 8 days were not enough, will surely come back again, hopefully soon.

Just returned from a brilliant trip to Sri Lanka arranged by Blue Lanka Tours. We did a week’s guided tour with our great guide, Kapila (nothing was too much trouble for him). Kapila was informative and fun to be with and took us to many special places. His local knowledge was invaluable. The second week was spent relaxing on the beach. Would thoroughly recommend Blue Lanka Tours, they took care of all our arrangements from arrival until departure.

We had a great experience with our tour of SriLanka. It was a custom tour that allowed us to cover most of Sri Lanka by road except for the North. Hannan Eban was an excellent guide ensuring we got to experience each location to the fullest. Navodani who worked with us in setting up the itinerary and checking in regularly to ensure everything was according to plan was also of great help. Would definitely recommend Blue Lanka Tours to anyone wishing to see the sights in Sri Lanka.

We just returned from a 10 day Classic Tour that we thoroughly enjoyed -- and were extremely impressed by the service and support of Blue Lanka staff, guide Thushara U., and local guides throughout the entire trip. Everything -- itinerary planning, billing, info, hotels, activities, meals -- was excellent and well supported throughout the trip. I had such an amazing time in Sri Lanka. I would never have been able to plan everything out on my own. My first contact was with Reshani. She planned out a wonderful itinerary for us. We told her what we'd like to focus on and she customized a wonderful trip for us. We had a wonderful guide, Pathum Sathsara who was so knowledgeable. He also made frequent shopping stops for us as well. I have some physical challenges and Pathum took care of me as if he were my nephew. We saw so many sights and met so many lovely people. One of the standouts for me was our safari driver in Yala National Park. Sujeewa was a rockstar! He had an eagle eye. We got to see a leopard! He was so skilled and kind. He and Pathum worked together like a well oiled machine. I have so many beautiful memories and pictures. Thank you Blue Lanka Tours for a trip of a lifetime!

We had an absolutely fantastic two weeks in Sri Lanka with Blue Lanka Tours, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to see the place! Right from the start, they were helpful, professional, and friendly. Our guide, Shan, was brilliant – his knowledge was spot on, he was enthusiastic, and accommodating -he really made the trip special. And a big thanks to Nimesha, our tour manager, who sorted everything out perfectly so we could just relax and enjoy every bit of it.

Sri Lanka itself is incredible, and we got to see and do so much! We had some amazing wildlife encounters, spotting leopards and elephants in the wild, and feeding the deer. We visited some stunning temples, monasteries, and cycled around historical sites, all packed with history and culture.

The train journey through the highlands was an adventure, with fabulous views. Visiting the tea plantations and learning about Ceylon tea was a real highlight, especially with the gorgeous scenery and the opportunity to have a go at picking tea!

The food was another winner – we had delicious Sri Lankan food every day, always fresh, healthy, and with the spice level tailored to you. The cookery class in a local village was brilliant – we learnt how to make traditional Sri Lankan dishes and then got to eat what we'd cooked – such a fun and interesting experience!

We also had time to chill out on Sri Lanka's lovely beaches, took in the amazing views from the Colombo Lotus Tower, and as massive cricket fans, catching a Sri Lanka Test Match at Galle was perfect!

We loved our trip to Sinharaja Rain Forest with Blue Lanka. Our driver, Manusith and Guide Manjula were excellent. They arrived on time at our accommodation and we had a safe and smooth journey. We met our Sinharaja guide who came with us as well as Manjula. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about pointing out plants and animals to us. We had time to take photos and didn't feel rushed. At the end of the tour we had a Sri Lankan lunch at a small restaurant at the start/end point of the walk. Some of the walk involved walking over slippery rocks and both guides were ready to help if we needed assistance. From my first communication with Blue Lanka up to our trip today everything was dealt with in a professional and efficient way. We would definitely recommend this tour and company.
