Blue Lion Band Reviews 

We had blue lion band at our wedding. We had 1 singer during the ceremony, a saxophonist and keyboard during the drinks reception and then the 7 piece band in the evening. Every part was outstanding we had so many compliments by guests on how good the band was. Special shoutout to Denquar our ceremony singer and lead singer with the band she was brilliant every song was pitch perfect. They really bring the vibe to your event. Very responsive during the planning stages. Highly recommend

Dessie and the Blue Lion Band are amazing! They are so talented and our guests raved about them all, not least Delilah the lead singer. The dance floor was full all night, and the band were super responsive and adaptable to requests in the build up, even making adaptations to our first dance song so we could have it just the way we wanted. The band were even on board with working out accompaniment so that I got to perform a song for my wife. The band also did a fantastic set for Jewish dancing. So much fun! We loved planning the wedding with Dessie and the Blue Lion Band and are looking for future events to get to hire them again!

We had the 6-piece band play at our wedding and they were honestly incredible. They completely smashed it from the first song to the last. The energy was perfect throughout. They absolutely nailed our first dance, which was an Ibiza classic, and the female vocalist’s voice was unreal. So many of our guests have said how amazing they were and the dance floor didn’t empty once. We’re so glad we booked them. It made the night.

Blue Lion Brighton band were amazing for our wedding, would highly recommend! Darren so helpful with any questions in the lead up to our wedding & on the day they were amazing, definitely knew how to get everyone on the dance floor!

They brought the party! Everyone danced all night. We had an 8 piece band which was amazing and worth it from my opinion.

Now that the dust has settled and we are back home, we just wanted to message you and the band to say a MASSIVE thank you for being absolutely awesome on Saturday night.

You guys MADE the night and I think every single person was on the dance floor boogieing away! It was just amazing and we wish we could relive it!!

We loved seeing the band live ahead of our wedding day, and from that point on the communication was great, and the performance on the night was top quality. They kept the dance floor alive throughout the evening.

The band was absolutely amazing. They were a life of the party, performed beautifully, were on time and dealt with all our requests whenever we had any questions

Dessie and the band were fantastic from start to finish. Dealing with the booking was smooth and easy and I had lots of contact and support from Dessie. Anything I needed, he was there to assist and on the day of the band playing, they turned up, set up and played a brilliant set to a very happy audience. No fuss, just did the job really really well.

Simon and the team were amazing start to finish - incredible planning, the best music, and seamless set up. The saxophone playing us out of the church, the packed dancefloor all night, the music coordinated to the fireworks, everything was absolutely perfect and made our day genuinely magical. Thank you!

We had the Blue Lion band at our wedding in August and loved them! The whole experience was great, from the planning and organisation as well as the sets at the wedding. Everyone commented on how good they were at the wedding and we would definitely recommend!

Having a dedicated producer and the comprehensive planning page meant we were able to specify exactly what we envisaged for our day, and Blue Lion Band then delivered exactly that.

WOW, WOW, WOW – is all I can say - Blue Lion Band were absolutely amazing at my Daughter's wedding recently in August 2024.
Every single guest did not stopped asking me who the band was and telling me how amazing they were.
They were spot on with everything and we really could not have asked for anything more – they definitely gave my daughter's wedding the WOW factor - every single song was fab and I certainly danced the night away, like every other guest did too 😊

The Blue Lion Band were absolutely phenomenal!

From start to finish they helped us create our perfect set!

We had a 6 piece band with Ruby Rose as the main singer. All band members were exceptional.

I requested a specific first song to start immediately after my first dance and they did exactly that.

We also had a sax and DJ set after which everyone loved!

Safe to say they had us dancing all night!

Couldn't recommend them more!

Blue Lion Band recently played for us as an 8 piece band at our joint 50th and 18th birthday party in our garden. They were fantastic! Their high quality and high energy playing kept the dance floor full for both of their hour long sets. Everyone commented afterwards on what a brilliant band they were. They were also excellent on communication and answering my many questions. They were polite and helpful on the day, arriving with plenty of time to set up and sound check before the guests arrived. They were kind and friendly and let us use their microphone for our speeches. I can not recommend them enough!

From the moment we first spoke to Simon, who provided all admin contact during the lead up, up until the very last song Blue Lion were faultless. The band were amazing, the feed back from our guest had been entirely positive. Everyone was dancing and did so for the entire 3 sets. We would highly recommend this band for your event.

The 6-person version of Blue Lion Band played at our wedding earlier this year and were brilliant! The dancefloor was packed with people of all ages, and they were communicative and flexible throughout the booking process, from band configuration to setlist. Strongly recommend!

Both female singers were awesome sounding and outfits to match!! And the band as a whole were superb. Communication and arranging the logistics was super smooth. We had Blue Lion Band for our wedding on 9 December and they were fantastic! We had a pre-call a few weeks before where we indicated what sort of music we would be keen on, based on their repertoire, and they took care of the rest! The dance floor was full for the entire time and they knew which songs to pull out at which point to keep energy high! Thanks so much for creating a great evening!
