Protecting investors on the BONDSTER platform is our top priority. To be able to successfully prevent fraud and unauthorised withdrawals, investors need to prove their identity and confirm the ownership of a bank account. We do this to ensure that the money is paid to the correct beneficiary.
If we do not receive proof of identity and confirmation of account ownership from an investor, withdrawals from their Bondster account are blocked. Once their bank account has been successfully authorised, withdrawals from the Bondster account in question will be resumed. Please contact our customer service who will be happy to assist you in resolving your request.

UPDATE: We have reviewed your email communication with our customer support department and informed you on 15 July 2024 that the documents you had provided had been verified and that all your account functions had been resumed. According to our records, you have already transferred the funds from your Bondster investment account to your personal bank account.

Hello,
What you are describing was likely a corrective transaction on an investor account. In the past, a technical error at one of the providers resulted in an incorrect interest payment being accrued due to which some investors were paid more interest than they were entitled to. As soon as we identified the discrepancy, we rectified the situation and debited the incorrectly posted funds from the concerned investors' accounts.

Certain providers offer investors a buyback guarantee and are also responsible for fulfilling that guarantee. If the provider fails to honour the guarantee, BONDSTER steps in and initiates the debt recovery process on behalf of all affected investors by all available means. The buyback guarantee is given directly by the lender, who is also directly responsible for the performance of the guarantee. If the lender fails to fulfil its obligation, this is a breach of contract. In this case, Bondster will immediately enter into negotiations with the lender and pursue all available means to recover the full principal and interest payments due in the legitimate interest of the investors. As soon as the lender sends funds to settle the investors' claims, the funds are immediately credited to the investors' accounts.

We greatly value our investors, as they trust us with their funds, and we have a duty (both legal and moral) to ensure the security of these assets. We regularly check transactions in our system for potential fraud and other irregularities. When detected, we investigate the issue using all available means. In very rare cases, when we are unable to resolve the situation to the satisfaction of all parties, we refer the case to AML, Police, or other relevant authorities. This is our policy, we mean it, and in the interest of our clients, we enforce it. You can be assured that we care about this.

For obvious reasons, we cannot discuss specific cases or disclose unproven accusations. In such cases, the disputed assets are frozen untill investigation by the relevant authorities is finished. As soon as we can clarify the suspicion based on the findings of the official investigation, we immediately release the assets. Anyone who may be affected has been contacted by the relevant authority or will be contacted in short time. Upon request by the relevant party (and unless prohibited by specific regulations), we will provide the name and address of the investigating authority and the case number.

Hello,
According to the terms and conditions, Bondster charges a fee of 1% of the amount invested annually for investments in CZK. This fee is calculated daily on the amount currently invested and is charged monthly on the last day of the following month. The fee is also charged throughout the period of active recovery against a lender that has not complied with a buyback guarantee given to investors (note: if the lender has provided such a guarantee for the receivables) and for loans without a buyback guarantee where the recovery process is ongoing. Thus, it may be the case that a fee is charged on the amount invested annually on a defaulted loan until the recovery process is completed (i.e. the full amount owed is paid by the provider or the court proceedings are concluded and a final decision is given).
We object to the false claim that the Bondster platform charges investors extra fees in euros. In the case you mentioned, it was probably a corrective transaction on an investor account. In the past, due to a technical error at one of the providers, an interest payment was booked at an incorrect amount. Some investors were paid more interest than they were entitled to. Upon discovery of this discrepancy, we agreed to correct the situation and the erroneous funds were debited from the investor account.

If you are recording outstanding redemptions and the recovery process is still ongoing, this does not mean that your investment is lost. If successful, you will recover the principal and interest due. Recently, thanks to intensive negotiations, we were able to recover all the funds owed from, for example, the lender RapiCredit.

To minimize the credit risk of the lender, we recommend all Bondster users to spread their invested funds over many loans from multiple lenders. Broad diversification is also possible thanks to the fact that it is possible to invest in individual loans on Bondster from as little as EUR 5.

Dear Ivan,
It is a loan provider's responsibility to fulfil the buyback guarantee on investments offered on the platform Bondster. In the event the provider fails to meet the obligation of the buyback guarantee, Bondster actively negotiates with the provider to recover any money owed to investors. This process can take some time and therefore delay the process of making buybacks by the provider. To mitigate the risks associated with investing in loans, we recommend users of our platform to diversify their portfolios broadly.

We publish new information regarding the development of the situation with Speedcash on our blog in the article Regular updates on loan originators. At the moment, Speedcash is still undergoing restructuring proceedings. Unfortunately, we are unable to influence the speed of the proceedings from our position. As the proceedings are still ongoing and the investment has not formally ended, it is not possible to write it off for tax purposes. Once the investment ends, it will be possible to write it off.

We would like to inform you that RapiCredit made the last outstanding buybacks in October 2023. Thanks to Bondster's long-term negotiations, investors were able to recover the entire principal owed, including interest for the entire period of delay. Investors have been informed about the repayment in the article RapiCredit has repaid all its liabilities to investors on our blog.

Regarding the company Lime, we are working hard to negotiate the best possible conditions for investors. Unfortunately, the loan provider is based in the Russian Federation, which makes communication with it very difficult at the moment (due to the sanctions following the invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine). Unfortunately, a problem with sending funds to the Czech Republic occurred on DanaRupiah’s part in July 2023. The situation was resolved with the bank, and after receiving payment from the provider, the money was credited to the affected investors' accounts. If you have not received your funds invested in DanaRupiah loans, please contact our customer support. They will be happy to examine your case individually.

All loan investments on Bondster have their respective interest rate indicated in annual terms (p.a.). When calculating the return, it is necessary to take into account the actual holding period of the investment. For example, if a buyback is activated and the investment is repaid early, the return will be lower than the expected amount.
