Placed an order over 3 months ago and haven't heard from them since. No response when trying to contact them.

Also note, this seems to be in no way related to the old Book Depository, which was bought by amazon and then shut down by them. I guess they just decided to capitalise on the original's good name.

SCAM!!! I looked into it and it definitely is. The only positive comments it gets are from people who only comment about Bookdp - OBVIOUSLY fake. Wish I had not ordered. Going to change my credit card before they charge me for absolutely NOTHING. How is this site allowed to exist???

Absolutely terrible. Ordered two books in Feb still showing as pending. Several emails sent to all the contact us email addresses with no response.
Don’t bother wasting your cash.

Total Scam. This item looks legitimate but luckily the spelling of a word on the payment page made me think. Also could not enter card details but somehow it brought up a payment verification from my bank. Had I not noticed and gone ahead to verify I would be out of pocket. Avoid this site at all costs.

Scam site, no books or replies.

I would rate no stars but it wouldn’t let me! Scam crap fake site. DO NOT BUY anything here. Cannot get any replies to my daily emails. Just says it’s being processed when I sign in and go to my order, but nothing changes. Absolutely no way to make any contact with them and they just ignore any emails sent to them. I wish I had checked TrustPilot before I ordered from them.

Ordered books as gifts to be sent to my in-laws and after 9 days, the order still said processing. I emailed support didn't even get an auto reply. I emailed back to say CANCEL the order as I no longer want to support this business. I have not been charged so maybe they are collecting data only.

Ordered a book back in February and five months later still haven’t received it. Sent an email to support after 3 months requesting a full refund as it still said “order processing” in my account, money had been taken and I had received no correspondence regarding delivery. Surprise surprise, no correspondence. Do not order from here, scam website.

BookDP is a complete scam! I ordered a book on Friday, July 4, 2025, but I never received any further communication or confirmation. The website can not be accessed any more. They have stolen my credit card details and other information.

I ordered 2 books in January 2025 and it's end of June 2025 now and I'm still waiting!! Emailed them numerous times but received no replies whatsoever. Avoid at all costs!! How people get away with this is beyond me!

My order was still pending after three weeks. The warning light went on and I checked this site. I ended up speaking to my bank and agreed that the best thing to do was to cancel my card and have a new credit card issued.
This company has so much potential and it’s so disappointing to be waiting…..and waiting….for the next book in a series; when it seems it may never arrive.

My book never arrived ,I've emailed twice never got a reply ,I'm thinking it's a scam

I agree with all the other 1 star reviews - I ordered a book in December 2024 and am still waiting. I've emailed the company numerous times and have never received a reply. Fortunately no money has been taken from my credit card though they obviously now have my details. It's a scam. Avoid!

Definitely a scam site. No response after having ordered over a month ago. Don’t use it.

Unlike many others, I have actually received my order although in horrendous condition. They were shipped from Amazon and I have received them mouldy! I have contacted all emails listed as support multiple times and no response or attempt at rectification. Amazon can not help as I didn't order directly through them either. Absolutely disgusting.

Pretty much the same experience as everyone else except it seems no money was taken from my CC. Book ordered, confirmation received, emails sent, no replies, Nada. Has to be a scam.

Scam! Avoid avoid avoid. Can only believe that they have stolen my credit card details and other information. I didn’t know Book Depository closed in 2023. Put orders in for books, got email with order saying ‘awaiting confirmation’. Never received any further communication- also sent two further emails requesting confirmation and a dm on Facebook messenger. Total silence. Wish I’d checked here before falling for it.

Don’t use! Searched up a book and saw it on this for good price, used a prepaid visa voucher to pay (thankfully) and haven’t been charged yet and it’s been two days. Only got an email saying “order needs processing.” Now can’t even access the website to change any other details- comes up with Error database. So I say don’t use. Will update if anything occurs
