If you know how the market works, Bookmap is an invaluable tool. It isn't about "placing your orders on the red lines." It's about getting a palpable view of the market in terms of liquidity, aggressor behavior and volatility. No other tool will give you a more accurate, less distorted view of the actual market. This replaces the DOM, footprint and (to some extent) volume profile.

I like to place my limit orders outside the value area. Then I like to see market liquidity build around that order on increased volatility. It's often a great sign that I'm on the right side of the trade.

Bookmap is the premier orderflow trading tool, bar none. And within the bookmap community in the discord channel Trader Lab, Tom B is just an amazing and generous mentor and teacher. Combining auction market theory and orderflow tool like bookmap is the only thing that makes sense of the markets.

The education and primer videos that Tom provides is 100% free. It's worth tens of thousands or more.

I believe it didn't not help me much for the price paid

Great s/w, reliable and provides valuable info.
Would be great if it was possible to download historical data more than 24hrs.
Also would be good to provide an easy to use interface to test strategies

The only benefit I can see at this point is liquidity levels. I have asked for assistance with settings for different timeframes and have not received any help. Instead of providing screenshots of settings, I was told to check back on the next webinar which I cannot always do. This shows poor judgment in my opinion and my subscription really does not matter much to Bookmap. I purchased a 3 month subscription to try and am sorry I did. I feel I wasted my time and money because of lack of interest in my subscription.

Incredible tool, fantastic way to view level 2 data, very visual. But very expensive and not user friendly setup. Which is totally fine because both of those variables are one-and-dones. Take some time to set it up, learn to use it and you shouldn’t have to do that a second time. And I realize that different markets have different data sources and therefore costs, but for any professional trader, or someone who takes it seriously, they’ll already be paying for market data for their respective instrument. It would be nice (and for me a subscription keeper) if Bookmap figured out a way to use the data subscription that I already pay for with Bookmap, instead of having to pay for it twice; once with my broker/tradingview, and another with Bookmap.

Bookmap took my Trading to the next level. It’s able to show you such insights off the market if you understand it and of course the free webinars and education videos on YouTube help a lot. Thanks for the great Plattform👍👍

Excellent for those wanting an edge in an already hard enviroment. Take The screentime needed to master it and Bookmap will serve you well.

Onboarding is incredibly cumbersome, and customer service is not timely. I paid for the software and wasn't able to use it until 2 days later due to this

its not legible, my book map doesn't look like any one of my friends. Is there a bunch of settings I need to change ?
