I already reviewed this company with 2 stars. I guess I was too generous. I keep telling my representative to complete my contract. The contract says they will promote my book on Amazon and they will place my book on LuLu. He hasn't responded to my last two emails and now their 844-phone number is disconnected.
Stay away from these people they are very dishonest

One of the most frustrating experiences of my life.

Book Writing Center/EBook Vault, LLC is attempting to rip me off for $1,999.00. After paying $4,999.00 for their publishing services, I realized they wanted me to pay for services that normally come after the book is published. My book, Shadows of Life was never published by the Merchant. Based on my dissatisfaction with their services, I had requested a full refund. Their Quality Assurance Manager responded to my request. She apologized for me not being satisfied and agreed that a full refund was do. Since I had filed a chargeback, the full refund was credited to my credit card. The Merchant then sent false information to my financial institute resulting in being charged $1,999.00 for services they had allegedly rendered. The response included that they had sent me 50 books for signing and had sent out 500 books to various bookstores. This was a bold face lie. How could they account for 550 copies of a book that they had never published? I paid $2,800.00 to Book Academy to publish my book, Shadows of Life. It had not been published by Book Writing Center/EBook Vault, LLC. Instead of complying with their Quality Assurance determination that a full refund was due, the Merchant fabricated a reason to keep $1,999.00 for alleged services which did not result in publishing my book. I have all the documentation that substantiate the Merchant's providing inaccurate information to wrongfully withhold $1,999.00 of the full refund. The worse part of this issue is that the Merchant is inaccessible resulting in me taking this matter to court.

THEY SCREWED UP WITH MY BOOK, EVAN, AFTER I SENT THEM A PRINT-READY FILE THAT WAS IN TIMES ROMAN, AND THEY CHANGED IT AND MADE IT WORSE. I HAVE REPEATEDLY DEMANDED A REFUND OF $100.00 AND HAVE FILED A DISPUTE. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO CONTACT THEIR FINANCE DEPARTMENT, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I'VE TRIED. THEY REFUSE TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. THEY ARE A WORTHLESS COMPANY

In my dealings with the company over a month I found them to be not only incompetent, but dishonest Here are details.
I was made many promises about how good their editing and formatting was, and how quickly it could be performed. Among the promises, a 100% money back guarantee if I wasn't satisfied. Editing went fairly smooth, but slow (and now that another company has re-edited I know they didn't do a very good job either). Formatting was a nightmare. Captions on photos sometimes appeared on different pages; long blank spaces at the end of some pages; and no paragraph indentation were some of the main problems. They took three tries at formatting, with weeks in between, before I pulled the plug, asked for my money back, and went to a different printer. I have an email saying they would refund the money by the end of April.
When I followed up on my refund they told me it was impossible because they had done some of the work. When I pointed out they had already promised it to me their offer was half back if I promised not to leave a bad review. But I had to wait until the end of May. I had heard that before.
There are lots of other companies out there providing the same services and after using this one and a competitor, I believe this one is "bottom of the barrel." I suggest you find another.

Before using this company's book editing service, my mnauscript was missing that final polish. The writing was clear, but it needed a certain flow and consistency. Their editors meticulously reviewed my work, identifying areas for grammar, clarity, and sentence structure improvement. They also provided suggestions for strengthening my overall narrative. After working with their editors, my manuscript was transformed into a professional and engaging piece of writing.
