We really like our table! It is the 4x6 kingswood table. The quality is very nice and heavy. The order to arrival time was much longer than I liked (3 months+). The building process was pretty good, but the instructions were lacking some details. I reached out to support and they were somewhat helpful.

The Kingswood 4 x 6’ board game table is a tremendous piece of furniture with quality components and is really solid. Definitely worth the wait (it was very clear when I ordered that it would take approximately three months). The website chat customer service can be frustrating, but the email customer service is among the best I’ve experienced. I’m so happy with my purchase and it was very much worth the money and wait.

I purchased a double set of 48 LAX RAX shelves to turn my built in wall shelf into a game storage masterpiece. We purchased our shelves in December 2024 and rebuilt our existing shelves to accommodate the LAX RAX shelves in early 2025. I installed shelves for all 65 games and everything was great for a few weeks. Then shelves started falling. I added more supports for those games, and they still fell. Then I realized I hadn't let my adhesive cure for the required 8 hours before storing my games. I took down every single shelf I had installed. I cleaned the adhesive from my shelves and from the black anchoring pieces. We reordered more adhesive pads from BoxKing. And FINALLY in November 2025, I spent 4 hours rehanging the shelves for about half my games. I let it cure and sit with no weight on it for over 16 hours (double the required time). Everything was beautiful for a week. And then my shelves started collapsing and peeling off my shelving unit again.

I have put HOURS of time into trying to make this work. Redoing in multiple times. The first time, yes that was user error. The third time, that was a product failure. I cannot get my money (or time) back for what I have spent on these "amazing" shelves. But I can stop you from wasting your time and money on them. Find another solution. These are not worth the effort.

Terrible customer service. I've been waiting for more than 3 months for my table. Requested a refund several times. They're absolutely terrible at giving answers and I never got my refund.

I received a GamePillar, but instead of using to display games, I displayed books. The building process easy, with simple and thorough instructions. The use of steel for the material was perfect for the heavy duty books I stacked on the GamePillar. I was able to fit 20 books, using the adjustable shelves to maximize space. None of the shelves bent under the weight and have provided a sturdy structure.

I love my GamePillar as an excellent and alternative way to display all my special edition books. The design is also perfect for maximizing space and allows it to fit in any space!

Highly recommend getting a GamePillar, even as bookshelf!

These guys are really great! The products are amazing.
I contacted support to ask some questions and they really went above and beyond to assist and help.
I now own both tables, the Box Throne legend and lots accessories!
And i will continue to buy 🙂

Excellent service, and my accessories were really lovely.

I recently received the Murky Blue 5x3 velvet playmat. The surface is smooth, the colors are vibrant, and the rubber on the back makes sure it stays in place. I am very happy with the mat and what it has done to elevate our game nights.

The masters of their craft! Our handmade wooden dice tower was premium but at an affordable price. Their communication throughout its transit to the UK was great on Instagram and we even received a personal follow up to check we were happy with it. We’re both very excited to have a UK warehouse from Boxking gaming so we can bulk by without the high shipping fees!

We’ve read some of the negative reviews and can’t see how they can be unhappy when our experience was so positive. If there is one review you read and wonder if the negative reviews out way the positive, let mine be it!

Back in 2020, when we finished our basement, we designed a dedicated game closet specifically to fit the full BoxThrone shelving system I bought, with additional extra-wide and regular shelves. Games are a hobby I'll always have, so it was time for a dedicated permanent space. It took a long time for them to show up, but it was worth the wait.

I also have the BH&G version of a Kallax that most gamers have, so I know all too well the woes that come along with it. Most of those are stored Tetris-style, whichever direction most games will fit, so it's especially testing to get games in and out.

Along with the BoxKing shelving system I know and have come to love, I finally got to try their Game Pillar, which I have so many different ideas for. I filled it with heavier games, and it’s a good-looking shelf! I’m also tempted to use it for all the games the kids can grab and play on their own, unplayed games, seasonal games, or for prioritizing the games we keep saying we’ll get back to but haven’t yet. I wish I had five pillars, one for each option.

All that in mind, the BoxKing shelves are pricey. There was a bit of sticker shock when I priced out my original setup, but I did a lot of research and didn't find alternatives I liked better. The same is true for the pillars. They are impressively solid, but I love the ability to store all different sizes of games in a modern way that isn't your typical wood shelf. I still have my eye on the extra-tall pillar, acrylic shelf toppers, extra-wide shelves, and some other pieces I need to finish out the top of my unit, but overall, I'm impressed with the quality and would purchase them again.

Love our shelves and how customizable they are. You don't realize how annoying it is to store board games on their side until your entire game spills out. Then you upgrade and never look back. Our entire game room is Boxking products.

Honestly this is a great product and brand. The website is ergonomic, the table was easy to set up, we’ve had tons of great game nights on it, and I love the creative vibes of the company!

We play board games 3-4 nights a week and have been looking into token and dice trays to help keep things a bit more organized during game nights. The hexagon wooden magnetic trays from Boxking Gaming are fantastic for this! They are well made and the wood trays look beautiful on the table. They are also magnetic which is a nice touch because it helps keeps the trays together. They honestly look great on the table by themselves too, so I decided to keep them out when not being used!

Boxking Gaming customer service was also fantastic to work with and very responsive. Quick shipping and seamless process overall!

I've been upgrading my board game setup piece by piece for years, and I've seen my share of flimsy inserts and accessories that just feel okay. I finally pulled the trigger on a bunch of stuff from BoxKing Gaming, and I'm just really impressed. This isn't your average Etsy store quality, and I mean no offense to Etsy sellers, but this is clearly another level.

​I got one of those magnetic wooden token trays, a play mat holder, and a dice tower, plus a few other bits.
​First, the magnetic token tray. This is what sold me. The wood feels fantastic. It's solid, smooth, and has a great finish. The magnets just snap together in a really satisfying way. No fumbling around or weak connections. It just works, and it keeps my table so much cleaner during a game. It feels like a premium, permanent part of my collection, not just some temporary fix.

​The dice tower is just as solid. It has a great clacking sound when the dice go through, no dice fly off the table, and it looks like a piece of art on the shelf. The play mat holder is one of those things you don't realize you need until you finally have one. It's keeping my game room so much organized and mats so much more accessible.

​Look, it's not the cheapest stuff out there. I definitely hesitated for a bit. But now that I have it all in my hands, the quality speaks for itself. It's top-notch. You can just feel the difference compared to plastic or 3D-printed accessories. Everything feels like it was built to last a lifetime.

​If you're on the fence about it, I'd say go for it. This is buy-it-for-life quality gear for your gaming table. My setup has never looked or felt this good.

We bought a shelving unit from Box King Gaming and after shipping and taxes it was over $600.
We received poorly constructed painted metal with plastic bases.
Putting everything together was difficult, because the instructions in the box were worse than IKEA. We had to take it apart and put it back together again multiple times because the parts were not labeled. Additionally, there were two different types of parts in the box that were never mentioned in the box instructions and I had to contact support to get an additional 6 pages of useless instructions. By the end, we just guessed at how everything had to go together.

Speaking of support, I contacted them again because after we put it together, we realized it was a hideous, poorly made piece of garbage that we could have found at Walmart for less than $150 and we wanted to return it for a refund.

We were initially told a refund and return would be possible, but since sending them the information on our order and asking for return instructions, we've only been sent AI Chat Bot responses about how the shelves were designed to be 'innovative'. I'm not sure what about interlocking shelves is so specifically innovative, but even if that were true, it had nothing to do with our request for a refund.

It's now been 3 days and we haven't been sent any more information on a return and refund process.

Do NOT purchase anything from this company. If you have any problems with your order (and you probably will) you won't be hearing from their support team any time soon. And you only have 30 days after receiving your order to complete a return. I'm willing to bet they'll run out timer out on a response and tell us we can't return it because it's past the return window.

UPDATE (1/13/2026)
This review has been posted 3 times on their website, but they keep deleting it, and this time I'm posting with an update. We were able to return the product, but Box King *never* refunded us. We had to get a *charge back* through our bank to get our money back. That's how bad it is working with this company if you end up not liking the product (and trust me, you won't).

We got the Ironside 1.0. We had some initial damage from shipping. Company was easy to reach via email and worked together with us to find an equitable solution.
This thing is SO huge we can easily ahve 6-8 gamers at a time comfortably. An entire game of Zombicide fits with no issues!

Since then I've been impressed how easy it is to find documentation if you need to look at the instructions again. Any questions have been easily answered.

We recently got the Bamboo writing desk as part of a promotional giveaway, and this thing is SO fun. Perfect for hands free reduction of clutter during your Table Top RPGS. But also good as a centerpiece to display your favorite book. Or in the Kitchen for use with your cookbooks. Very handy!
This item shipped fast, and the tracking worked great!

We were missing 2 drawers from our gaming shelf order and the photo from the delivery person clearly showed too few boxes delivered for what we ordered. After arguing with the support person about whether the picture showed enough boxes were there they conceded that there were missing boxes and said they would send a replacement but had to verify the tracking issue with the delivery company first. That was October 10 and I emailed Oct. 21 for an update and was ghosted.

I feel like a reputable company, after seeing the missing boxes, would send out a replacement immediately and sort it out with FedEx later.

Update: they are finally sending me the missing item but it shouldn't have been so difficult and as long of a process to get them to do that as resending the lost item is the standard thing to do.

Box King Games makes fantastic products to begin with. More importantly, I've had great customer service experiences with them. My original Ironside Table came with a wide array of shipping damage. Getting in contact with the support team and getting replacement pieces sent out was a breeze. Overall, a great company for those wanting to maximize their gaming gear.

Too expensive, too slow to delivery, bad customer service.
