In less than a year my expensive £25 replacement Grinder Mechanism has gone blunt after just 8 months. This is the 3rd replacement mechanism in 3.1/2 years !
I am very unhappy that such an expensive grinder has such a short life span.
The reason for this issue is that the grinder parts are made of soft die-cast aluminium which means the cutting edges get rounded very quickly.
The Peppermill is not "Fit for Purpose
This what the factory advertises "... one thing will never change, the dedication of its owners to the production of high quality, unstoppable and excellent aesthetics mills for pepper....." The materials are not high quality and the mills are not unstoppable.
I emailed the factory infoATbrasspeppermill.com when the previous grinder mech failed but got no response.
