Eversure Breakdown Cover Reviews 

Try to avoid this useless company my car broken down in Europe the provided number didn't work.
When I called again from different num they refused the claim making excuses.

Normaly I would never shop around for quotes for re-newal with this company. Eversure commenced approximately 3 years ago with a very satisfying quotation which they have maintained for three years at the same price, this year, thinking that maybe, this could be too good to be true I decided to get a new quotation as a first time new customer enquiry. I was, in a way, a little dissapointed when I received a better deal, at a lower price for slightly better cover? However, I am happy with the new price because I am accustomed to the excellent service this comany provides, BUT - - take heed, Martin Lewis's advice to "NEVER AUTOMATICALLY RENEW" is so true, you must always shop around even for the most tempting renewal offers. Unfortunately in this real world it proves that there is no such thing as a free dinner!

Really quick and simple taking out breakdown cover for travelling f abroad! Very competitive rates and all the small print was given without boring me to death!

I made a mistake on the start date of the policy, messaged support and it was amended within the hour and new certificate e mailed out. Brilliant service

Purchased European cover through Eversure that transpired to be with National Breakdown.

I reported the problem on Monday (24th) morning and National have been unable to find a garage that can even assess my vehicle until Monday 31st. This appears to be beyond a reasonable timeframe. Further, despite requests for some flexibility around hire car amount allowances, they will not provide any further assistance.

We are a family of 5 with a significant amount of luggage, due to move to different accommodation in another part of France on 30th Aug (before a garage can even look at the car) and return to the UK on 6th Sept.

The wording of the policy clearly assumes that the hire car etc. limits apply to cases where they have been able to recover to a garage that can take the car within a couple of days. You have failed to do this but are unwilling to provide flexibility to us.

I found a good hire car offer for £700 that would have provided us with a car from 26th Aug through to 5th Sep but National refused to authorise this, despite the fact that this would be beneficial for all sides, as we could rescue our holiday as well as have a means of transporting me back to the garage (several hundred kms away from our next accommodation) assuming they can fix it next week.

All they could say was I could make a case for claiming it after our holiday and they would consider it, but without any approval of this in advance this obviously leaves us in danger of being significantly out of pocket. Further the transport cost of getting me back from the next accommodation to the garage would be several hundred pounds, of which National are only willing to contribute £100 despite it being their inability to find a garage to take our car before our transfer date.

They are not fulfilling their obligation to find a suitable garage within a reasonable time frame. They are equally unwilling to provide suitable alternatives for our situation.

To make matters worse, National stated that we need to take up the terms with Eversure and gave me a number that reverted back to the same National breakdown team! When I did manage to find a number for Eversure and speak to them, they advised that only National can vary their terms, as Eversure are just the broker. The customer service is dire.

The FCA will be my next step.

The website is very easy to use and it only took me a few minutes to get my breakdown cover sorted. The quote price was very good and it covers everything I need it to. I'm really happy with the service received. Thank you.

I am still waiting for a resolution for an issue that happened on 11th July 2026 when Eversure left us for more than 3 hours in the side of the M11 in the heat with cars obviously driving past. Do you not have customers care in mind?

You answer On a Trustpilot review yet you keep ignoring my emails. Strange that…. I have sent 2 emails this week plus all the others since 11/7.

The start date for cover defaults to today's date and it is unclear how to amend it

Checked Eversure out on Trustpilot before taking out the breakdown cover. They showed good experiences overall so continued with purchasing their breakdown cover online. Everything was very easy and efficient. Received the cover certificate and policy etc. within minutes. The five stars are obviously for my experience with Eversure so far. Hopefully I will never need them but hopefully they will be just as efficient if I do.
