I have used Bridgeman before and have an account, though the last time I purchased images was several years ago. This time, I submitted a request for a quote via my account on the website, but did not receive any response for close to three weeks - I was only helped once I sent a direct e-mail asking about the status of my request.

At that point, I was asked to repeat most of the information about the nature of the project and image rights I needed, even though this was all information I'd already provided via my request on the website. I did not find the person I worked with particularly helpful, nor did they explain why my request via the website was left unhandled, or why I had to repeat most of the information about the order to them.

Answering quickly to my request, proposing competent solutions.

I desperately wanted to give a 5 for Bridgeman as my final experience with them was super helpful.
However, I had real problems from the get-go e.g. couldn't create an account because there was problems with their technology, and whilst I reported it online ( twice I think) and also phoned and left a message on their voicemail nobody called me back.
It was because of my determination and persistence that I eventually made a breakthrough.
After this happened I couldn't have asked for better 1 : 1 support.
Part of the reason I was determined to use their services was because I had used them several years ago and it was a great experience.
Overall I would highly recommend them as said if there hadn't been all that challenge with technology I would definitely have rated it a 5.
