We moved to the U.K. from abroad, and had a complicated mortgage process to say the least. Philip and Gareth were both incredibly helpful from our very first outreach until the day we closed on our home. They were always available to familiarize us with how lending and real estate work in the U.K., and were just a delight to work with throughout the whole process. Brilliant money surely went above and beyond, when we first applied for mortgage it was not straightforward plus the covid pandemic didn't help our application go faster, We almost gave up but our agent continued fighting our corner we haven't met in person but his professionalism is of excellence

I was very pleased with the initial support I received from Sam when deciding on an appropriate product, especially as my case was complicated and I didn't know where to start!

I have deducted one star because there was (what felt like) a significant delay in receiving the mortgage offer due to the various checks required by the lenders. I appreciate that Brilliant Money put time and effort into negotiating the terms of these checks given my circumstances. However, I felt that when communication was handed over to another member of the team, I often had to repeat and explain information I thought I had already shared, which may have contributed to the delay. I also sometimes felt out of the loop.

Overall, I am pleased that Brilliant Money was able to secure an offer for me and would like to thank Sam, Thomas, and the rest of the team for their efforts in making this happen.

We have been quite a complex case, in so far as we only wanted an interest only mortgage to aid us buying a second home for our son to live in.
