I wish I had come on here to check this company out before I ordered some shoes!! Like everyone else I received shoddy cheaply put together shoes at least 2 sizes smaller than I ordered and of course they refuse to refund my money! They offer a 20% refund and I don’t really expect them to even return that paltry amount!
They are an awful company in China and the whole thing is a scam!!

Scam, really poor quality, not leather at all and way too small. Should be no stars!
I tried to return a really poor quality pair of shoes to be informed they’re in China! I can’t get a refund. Managed to increase their refund offer to 20% steer clear

Same as everyone else - advertised shoes as leather but not leather and smell really bad. Tried to get refund but they are in China and won’t send me paid returns labels - don’t use this company!

The garment l ordered took weeks to be delivered which l later discovered because it came all the way from China.
It is no more than a rag, have never seen such a disgrace of stitching, material or style.
As they offered a 30 day return policy when l purchased it online l emailed them to advise l was very shocked and disappointed at the very poor standard.
Asking how do l return?
After 8 emails to them they eventually said l had to return it to China trackable at my cost or they would do me a special deal refunding me 15% of original price and l could keep the garment and gift it to someone. My bin received it.

Scam site. Falsely presents as a family run UK company with easy refunds and returns. However they are a Chinese e commerce site and will not give refunds or anywhere in the uk to return goods. Goods are extremely poor quality too and not worth the money. Please report them to Action Fraud UK
so this website will be removed.

This is a scam. Despite the website looking like it is in the UK with a shop front, this is an online retailer from China who will send you very inferior goods to the ones you have picked from the website. DO NOT ORDER - EVER! It says the returns are easy, just email them, but when you do, they say you have to return the goods to China, which will cost too much so you can have a 15% refund. That's all. The regulatory bodies in this country can do nothing as the company is non-UK based. BEWARE

I was sent the wrong size shoes. Customer service told me to return them at my own expense, then they offered me 15% discount to keep the wrong size shoes. Finally I was asked if I wanted to be sent the correct size shoes - they have not arrived and I've had no response to my latest emails. Untrustworthy

ZERO STARS-SCAM..... Not a Bristol based company, it's a warehouse in China which is where you will have to send items back to at your expense. The leather, orthopaedic, non slip shoes were plastic, not orthopaedic and very slippy shiny soles. They smell of plastic. Utter garbage that are only suitable for the bin. Incredibly ugly and nothing like the pictures. Well they are like if a 5 year old was given craft stuff and then asked to make shoes like shown on the website. Please avoid as you will be wasting your money

SCAM ALERT!
This is not a shop based in the UK. They use fake pictures (probably AI generated pictures) of the shops on their website pretending like a family business in Bristol. I bought a pair of shoes called “Rachel - Orthopaedic Leather Sandals” from the advert on Instagram (now they advertise as just “summer sandals”. Probably because of horrible reviews). And then I realised that the same product with the same image were sold from different online stores with different prices. They lied on their website saying it would be delivered by Royal Mail. But it was delivered by Yodel from China. The shoes I received were nothing like the picture - horrible quality and look - so I asked for a return address. They gave me an address in China!! And they said the return cost would be too much for me to pay so I should accept 15% refund and keep the shoes. I refused and asked for a UK address and then they offered 20% refund instead. I reported all the evidence to my bank with screenshots of email conversation. My bank made them to pay full refund in the end. So if you are suffering with the same situation I had, collect all the evidence that you tried to get a refund and I recommend contacting your bank. This also made me never buy anything from Instagram! I know I should have been more wary when I buy things online, but I (also others who got tricked) shouldn’t be the one to blame.

Ordered the Rachel sandals on instagram. They came weeks and weeks late from CHINA. They are MISLEADING and not in the UK. The shoes are not as advertised. Not leather or Orthopaedic. CHEAP AND NASTY PRODUCT. I received the wrong size. CUSTOMER SERVICE is a joke with a four day turn around response from China. After so many emails for a return was offered 15% to keep them. They would’nt accept responsibility. Return address is China AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE. Just a big scam. They claim to be British which they are not. I would Avoid this company. They should not be able to advertise or Trade.

I wish I had researched them and read reviews first. I ordered a pair of leather loafers for work in a size 6. They arrived a couple of weeks later and were a size 4. The packaging showed that the item had come from China - not what their company depicts, but not the end of the world.
Their website is not helpful re returns contact details so I have replied to one of the email I received from them to explain that I’d been sent the wrong item and would like a replacement or return.
They have replied, but to say that they would ‘kindly’ offer me a 15% refund and I could keep the shoes - or I post them to China at my own cost and get a full refund. The return address is a warehouse in China that does not make any sense and does not come with anything when Googled - apart from being linked to other denominations of the same company.

I have politely replied that this doesn’t make sense and not what they say in their website. I explained that there is no point in me keeping shoes 2 sizes too small, I don’t mind returning them, but would like the postage reimbursed and a full refund. I’ve pointed out that they have sent me something I did not order and cannot use, but they will no doubt re sell.

I have had an email back repeating the first one, but the tone has been pushy and dismissive. They have said that this was their final offer and their returns process.
I’ve again replied, explaining that I’d paid £35.95 for something I did not order, cannot use and do not want. The 15% discount doesn’t make sense and it is through no fault of my own that I am having to ask for a refund or replacement.

A reply has been received to say that they are pleased to now offer me a 20% refund and keep the shoes. I did the maths - this is nothing. Their email is again pushy and trying to lead you to think they are doing you a favour.

I have replied again after reading the reviews on here and other websites. It is obvious that this is a trick they use to get money out of people. Nobody is going to return an item to China, at their own cost, for nothing. So everyone will take the hit, put it down to experience and give up their money.

It is absolutely appalling.

I’ve explained to them my job (police detective), that I am reporting them to Trading Standards as none of this is set out in the terms and conditions of sale in their website and also to Action Fraud - as I have no doubt this is a method they use to con people out of money.

To date, I have not had a reply to this email. Surprising.

I am in the process of appealing the transaction with my bank, but I doubt I will get the money back. The item was crap quality, not what it looked like or as described on the website, not worth the money and impossible to return for a refund. Save yourself the bother!!! I’m so cross with myself for ordering from a company I’ve never heard of before.

**Further email rec’d from them: ‘After careful discussion with management, we're afraid the best we can offer in this situation is a 20% refund as a gesture of goodwill, allowing you to keep the item and avoid the cost and inconvenience of an international return.

As all reviewers (other than Daan who seems to either be employed by the drop shipment company in Holland or has too much time on his hands....or both) this is akin to being legally mugged.
They misrepresent themselves and the products.
They know full well that they need to reply within 15 days of any message to prevent any chargeback support on the transaction from your bank.
Joy (or the person who presents as Joy...could this be Daan??) tried to tell me that a Euro size 39 is a UK 7 and that they run small(?!). Now you dont need to be an expert to know this is factually incorrect , not that I would be tempted to put these toxic plastic smelling shoes near my skin in the first place. They would be no less accurate in selling you a piece of coal and telling you it’s a diamond.
I would suggest we all complain to the social media companies being paid advertising fees by these scammers and highlight to our banks (that allow these transactions to proceed).
I managed to rise to the dizzy heights of a 20% refund, but obviously this would not materialise any quicker than their conscience.
I would burn the shoes but suspect the fumes would hospitalise a small nation.
The lesson for us all is buyer beware.

This company is crap. Sent wrong size shoes, took a long time to arrive and won’t give me a refund. Sent loads of emails and they state I have to pay to send them to China, whilst claiming they’re based in the UK. Avoid like the plague. Max refund 20% and I can keep the shoes. They don’t fit!! Their error but getting fobbed
off constantly. Wish I’d read the reviews first. Do not buy from Bristol Threads.

These are Chinese based and goods are nothing like advertised, I received cheap plastic shoes when they were advised and priced for full leather.
I would never wear these cheap nasty shoes, I care more for my feet.
They said I can return back to China, but when priced up would cost almost as much as I paid for the shoes & there’s no guarantee I would get my refund.
Nowhere in their returns policy does it state returns are to China.
They pass themselves off as a uk based business & their website is totally misleading.

I cannot select zero. False claims they are leather and returns is near impossible. Either offer 10percent or I have to post to China despite implying they are UK based and returns are possible. Proper scammers. Avoid.

Terrible. Stupidly didn't read reviews and got sent a crummy pair of shoes, not in a box so were squashed. Not leather. Can see the glue. From China not Bristol.

The shoes are of poor quality not what was advertised ie leather but are pvc smell awful and trying to get your money back is a joke they want you to send them back to China or take 15% of what you paid would never order from them again very poor. Still trying to get my money back.

Didn't read the reviews and as with everyone else am left with some ugly cheap shoes.
