The customer service at Britannia Windows has been very helpful with the installation of our new front door. The team has been very responsive and were quick to correct issues that arose during the installation. It is clear the team are friendly and care deeply about delivering great products and customer service.

Nice enough compisite door fitted with a few niggles. The lock was constructed with a security number but the key-turn was notchy for a brand new door. Many years later in 2025 (say 5 or 6 years) the key was still notchy and quite by chance a private visit from a different glazing firm quickly fixed the problem saying that the hinge adjustments needed tweaking - good door afterwards. At time of purchase, I was told that my surveyor would measure up for front and back to have matching keys but this wasn't done and the cost of getting this done was prohibitively expensive.

Ordered through Launa windows, getting correspondence via Otter windows and Britannia so not sure who I'm dealing with.
Multiple problems from the start so strap in. The job was 16 windows, three French doors and front and back doors. The follow-on job is the rear of the house with 14 more windows, a 3m bifold and a 2m bifold doors.
I was told that if I paid the deposit in Nov 25, the installation would be before Christmas because that was their quiet time. That was not true and not achievable. It took weeks for them to get the spec right from small details like hinge colours to French doors and windows missed of entirely. I had to go through the spec multiple times to get it right and corrected mistakes seemed to reappear. The pictures in the spec didn’t always match the description because of issues with the software. I had to chase to get the surveyor booked because they forgot to book the appointment. Surveyor laughed at the Christmas install date. I had specified a dog flap in the back door which the sales guy said would be fitted. This was incorrect, I had to supply it. Surveyor said mid Jan for some of the windows and mid Feb for the doors. Couldn’t get hold of anyone throughout Dec either phone or email and feared they’d gone bust. Finally had someone show up and he got on with it OK but was missing various trim for windows and French doors. There was the wrong window handles on one window. Wrong locks on the French doors. One of the panes of glass was the wrong size so he put a piece of plastic in its place temporarily. He came back to fit the pane but brought the wrong size again. We’re in April and it’s still not done from Jan and no indication of when it will be done. They sent the final invoice when there were still three doors and three windows left to install. They fitted the front door mid Feb, still waiting for it to be finished. He was supposed to fit the back door the same time, but he couldn't find it in the factory. He was booked in to fit it but didn’t show up. He arrived a week late because he had been double booked. I had to ask where he was when he didn’t show. When the back door finally arrived, it was the wrong colour. There were so many errors on the spec, I missed this one, so they won’t even talk about it. He had to fit it because the old door had been ripped out. Either way, it’s still not finished and it wouldn’t open. They sent a subcontractor to fix the door so that it actually opens without kicking it.
Debris left on site since Jan.
Here’s the big one; the building inspector has said the upstairs windows do not comply with fire regulations. Launa’s reaction was that I should have “satisfied myself that they were compliant before they were fitted”!! They have offered a bodged solution.
I don’t know where to turn to now.

A great experience all round. Excellent sash windows and a new front door which have made a huge difference to our property. Good value for money with interest free, pay later options available. From Paul (the Salesman) through to Paul and his Son (the Fitters) we had a great experience. We can highly reccomend this local company.

Every stage of designing , discussing product, and follow up advice and literature was the start of a catalogue of issues , and even worse we had to replace 8 window panes ( of 15) at our own cost ( small compensation payment agreed) plus our Bifolds had to be lowered, by taking a whole brick layer out , as the threshold was not explained properly ( this was paid for by Britannia Windows , Rose Green).

Now the third time I’ve used Britannia Windows on two properties, every time I’ve been completely happy and impressed. I won’t be looking anywhere else for my remaining window replacements.

I can’t fault the whole process from making the first enquiry to the final installation. Highly competitive on price but not compromised on quality, and I am extremely particular!
I get sometimes it can be a little it anxious making a decision to change your windows, but the team at Britannia made things simple. Efficient and friendly service.
Highly recommended and already thinking about using them again at a different property!

This was not the first time I have used Britannias Windows as I have previously fou d their products, Pricing and Installation work to be of the best quality. This was not the easiest of installations due to a leant shelter having been erected on the rear wall which, for anyone else would have caused a problem. The Installation team coped with a professional and friendly manner and, I wod like to give them and the rest of the staff at Britannia Windows at Bognor Regis a really big thank you foe a good job well done. After taking the first deposit, they confirmed that the order had been put in to production, then stopped responding to all emails and calls for almost a month. After raising a complaint I heard back and was given an installation date. Initial installation was awful. Multiple windows were not sealed properly, the beading was broken or didn't fit in places and they just put filler/silicone in to hide it. We had 4 doors installed, none of them were fit correctly and we've had to have multiple callouts for each of them. It has been about a year since the initial install, I've had 5 callouts for repairs and fixes, each of these has resulted in the engineer stating more work is required, but the company never contact me, I've had to chase them every time. The office never answer their phone, eventually I raised a 2nd complaint and finally got another engineer out, he stated more work was required and I ensured he added to his notes that I have an active complaint. I now have two engineers booked out for a whole day to resolve issues. The engineers that come out are from a subsidiary call fixmanrepairs, they're both brilliant! It's just a shame I've had to meet them so many times and still have issues afterwards. Fingers crossed for the next appointment to resolve the issues. It's also worth noting that I've raised a DSAR with them via their main Bristol email address and have had no response, I've since forwarded the request to another email provided by one of the engineers and haven't even received an acknowledgement, so this will likely be another complaint to actually get them to talk to me. The quality of the finish isn't ideal, seams are visible and looks worse than the previous windows; some of which were over 20 years old. I'd advise avoiding this company, or if you do go with them, make sure you're aware of CERTASS and the ICO (if you want to request your data). Be prepared to complain, it seems to be the only way to hear back from them.

The fitting went very well indeed and I am so pleased with the front door. It has completely transformed the entry way and I have had so many compliments!
This is the 2nd time I have used Britannia for double glazing.
Apart from the quality & value of the products, the main attributes of this branch of Britannia W&D; are the employees, and at the sharp end of installation are the ‘nothing is too much trouble’ fitters themselves.
A very big thank you to Pete & David who went above and beyond. Much appreciated, great job, thank you both.

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!
Do not take advice or recommendations from the salesperson!
ALWAYS make sure they are equipped with the physical colour swatches at point of sale.
(We weren’t provided with swatches and the company refuse to take any responsibility for the colour of the door we ordered!)
The attitude from staff in the office is truly appalling, childish and totally unprofessional.
We are now stuck with a door that cost over £1600 which looks ridiculous!!!!

We had a very positive experience with Britannia windows, everything from initial consultation through to fit and after care has been faultless.
We chose the triple glazed units for our house and the quality is extremely high.
We were kept up to date on the progress of our order throughout and always felt like we were in good hands.
I genuinely cannot recommend Britannia windows enough.

Britannia Windows were amazing. Easy to do business with, fantastic products at an exceptional price which offered really great value for money. The two fitters Jamie and Paul were very professional, left the property clean and tidy and updated us on every aspect of the work. We could not believe how quickly they fitted the door and windows and what a difference it made to our property. In addition the after sale service was exceptional. No customer service from this company... Beware of any issues because they ignore them regardless. Ive been contacting this set up for 3 months as you can imagine a Front Door not locking properly is a major safety issue. Very very poor. This is no way to run a business.
