Following my last review on this dreadful company, they came back to me and offered to order a smaller size of jumper at the cost of 9.90 Euros or get a 20% refund of the purchase price.
I pointed out that in Scotland, we don't use Euros!!! Also, I informed them that I was entitled to a full refund on return of the item, according to my consumer rights. I told them that I was prepared to pay the cost of a return to a UK address.
Guess what? The return address was in China and I was told that I would be responsible for full postage with tracking. They wouldn't send me a return label. Of course, they wouldn't. They don't do any labels whatsoever, as reported on my previous review. It should be pointed out that nowhere on their website is China even mentioned. What a surprise!
More emails ensued and I was eventually offered a 25% refund, which I have accepted, because I have spent too much of my precious time and energy on this disgraceful company who think they have the right to ignore EU and UK consumer regulations according to labelling and material content (allegedly).
They also told me that "as a gesture of goodwill", I could keep the jumper. I think you could have heard me laughing in the next street. Keep the jumper that had no labels on it whatsoever telling me what it was made of, was too big, and the material would bring you out in a rash because it was so itchy. The word 'cashmere' could never be attributed to this garment. Again, it was advertised online as a jumper that contained cashmere.
As I said before; buyer beware.
I am not finished with this company. I intend to report them to the appropriate authorities, who will, hopefully, take action.
