very convenient service, drivers are extremely sweet and cooperative 10/10 recommend

The experience was extremely disappointing. I booked British Car Transfer through the GetTransfer app specifically because it allowed me to request an infant car seat and a Mercedes Benz Vito van, which I needed for our large luggage, including a cycling bag. We were going on holiday and required transport from our home to Heathrow Airport. I was charged accordingly for the trip and the noted vehicle type.

The day before our trip, I was in communication with the company to reconfirm the infant seat and shared a photo of some of our luggage to ensure they understood the space required. They confirmed everything was fine.

However, on the day of travel, a much smaller VW Caddy style vehicle arrived, with no infant car seat provided. This not only compromised my child’s safety, but also meant the vehicle was not what I had paid for.

Although the driver apologised, no alternative solution was offered, and there was no refund or partial compensation for the downgrade. The company made no effort to resolve the issue or communicate any changes in advance.

Based on this experience, I would not recommend British Car Transfer. The service delivered did not match what was booked or paid for, and the lack of care regarding child safety was unacceptable.

I booked this company through minicabit and requested a car seat for a two year old. They did not provide a car seat for a two year old as it was requested but instead presented me with a booster seat that is not suitable for children under the age of four. When minicabit contacted them they said that the seat was ‘uncomfortable’ for my child instead of admitting that they simply failed to provide a car seat.

Also, I had booked the taxi for 2.20pm but at 1pm they called me to ask if we could be ready at 1.20pm. The person on the phone told me that it was due to road closures that they wanted to change the pick up time, but the driver admitted that he wanted to be at the airport earlier so that he could pick another passenger whose flight was arriving earlier. The time that it took us to arrive at the airport was the same time that I expected the trip to last and was factored in when I booked the taxi for 2.20. So their excuse was invalid. The only thing that was different was that we had to spend an extra hour at the airport with two young children under the age of five.

It was easy to pre book the cab. The driver was friendly, and was on-time for the pick up. We’ve reached the destination very quick safely. I highly recommend this service to my friends and family.

this company is prompt, user friendly to communicate, especially on what's app they are instant and to the point , chauffer's are well trained and they are on time , i wish them good luck and successful years ahead.

Reliable service, good communication, professional driver

This business is a scam with obviously fake reviews. They just book Ubers for customers at your allotted time and then mark up the price. Absolutely avoid.

This company claims to be a legitimate minicab company but they literally just book Ubers and charge a markup for it. This is not a legitimate company

Tutto perfetto! Abbiamo prenotato prima di partire il viaggio dall’aeroporto di Stansted al centro di Londra. L’autista ci aspettava e ci ha contattati per indicarci il punto d’incontro. Vista l’esperienza molto positiva abbiamo deciso di prenotare anche il ritorno. La comunicazione con il servizio clienti è stato eccellente e se si viaggia in più persone è anche una scelta più economica del trasporto pubblico.
