Extremely disappointing experience with Buckets for Benefits. Our school paid upfront, only to wait THREE MONTHS for our order despite repeated requests for delivery or a refund. The owner refused to return our money, and when the detergent finally arrived, it appeared old, degraded, and completely unusable. It honestly looked like decades-old warehouse leftovers. For a company claiming to support schools, this was an appalling way to treat one. Buyer beware!

From the beginning, dealing with Natalie was a headache. The setup process involved excessive administrative demands, confusing instructions, and constant back-and-forth. Rather than simplifying fundraising, the program created more work for an already busy school staff.

Getting clear answers about fees, deductions, and when our school would receive its money was equally frustrating. Communication was inconsistent, and obtaining straightforward information felt unnecessarily difficult.

The delivery process involving Chris only added to the disappointment. Uncertain timelines, slow progress, and inadequate follow-through left our staff scrambling to keep everything organized. Schools operate on schedules, and these kinds of disruptions affect everyone involved.

The financial results were the final insult. In this scenario, our school raised $8,500, but after $5,900 in costs and deductions, we retained a pathetic $2,600 — barely 31%. For the amount of administrative work, staff time, and frustration involved, the return was simply unacceptable.

My advice to fellow school administrators: Avoid this kind of fundraising experience at all costs. Your teachers, students, and parents deserve better than endless complications, unreliable execution, and disappointing financial returns.

Fundraising should benefit students, not drain a school's time and resources. There are better ways to raise money without putting your staff and community through an unnecessary ordeal.

One star. Far more trouble than it was worth, and absolutely not an experience worth repeating.
