Booked a holiday with them in what looked like a beautiful new and clean apartment block only to realise the pictures and info were old and complete lies. The place was a dive. This was online i booked at around 7 or 8 on a Friday evening. Rang the very next day after booking to say I wanted to speak with someone to change or cancel was told ok. They'll call back. This was a Saturday so expected a call on the Monday. No call till the following Wednesday which I had then told them it was too late I wanted to cancel. They told me that's grand but there would be a cancellation fee. I said grand what is it 150 euro or so. No. 2700 odd euro. What an absolute scam. They told me it was because they'd already booked the flights. Bs. Ryanair flights. We're going to Salou. No way they cost that much. Decided we'd stick with it. No choice really. Wanted to change hotel. Kept sending us absolute dives. Finally got to book into one ive stayed in before but of course they had to charge us more to transfer it. A holiday that costs about 3500 with tui is costing us over 7000 euro. Scumbags. Roll on to today and I recieve an email from ryanair to say only 2 seats are allocated to us. 1 adult and our 8 year old. We've a 12 year old severely autistic child who ive informed budget travel about since the start. They never once mentioned about seating so its cost me another 240 euro to pick seats. I rang budget to be told its a ryan air thing even though ive never spoke with ryanair ive spent 1000s with budget travel. Useless shower of scumbags. Budget my hole. Ill never use them again and I'll not be leaving it at this. Robbery and conned us. Steer clear. Use old pictures and reviews and dont even have reps or anything when you arrive.

He is highly autistic and wouldn’t be able too sit alone..
the wouldn’t listen , we explain we had payed already for our seats with them .

How did they get a 4.2. Booked through site for 2 rooms wirh 2 queens. Only to find out I got 2 rooms one bed each for a family of 9. I was somehow supposed to understand that although pictured as two bed through their site that I was only getting one bed each room. Plenty of hotels in the same area I wouldve glady payed a extra couple of hundred dollars for so that my family wouldnt have to sleep on floor because we arrived at 10 pm. The hotels original site shows a picture of 1 queen bed for one. The little savings that I got caused more headache than it deserved. Do not use this website. Lack of compassion and I was just stuck with what I was given because Im suppose to understand their misleading is my fault. Terrible because their own representative acknowledged that yes it is indeed misleading but whats booked is booked. The few dollars the broke people like us need to save is not worth this trouble. Stay safe book direct.

Good value offers, but disappointing customer service from store when I called for assistance.

Used this company a few times. Great, until I required help, then became rude and now not replying to any messages. Spoke to airline directly and they can't understand their unwillingness to be helpful. Happy to take your money but disgraceful customer service when required. Avoid at all costs plenty of reputable travel agents out there take no risks with this one.

My husband and I have just returned from a first family holiday to Albufeira with our 8 month old baby. We stayed at the Albufeira Sol Hotel. While we enjoyed our holiday, we got off to a very disappointing start. After checking in to the hotel at 10.30pm approx, when we got to our bedroom we discovered that there was no cot for our baby. I specifically stated when booking that a cot would be required. This request is clearly stated on my Budget Travel invoice. After multiple visits and phone calls to reception we were told that due to no house keeping staff working that late at night, it wouldn’t be possible to get the cot until morning. As a result our baby had to sleep with us in our bed. Our baby never cosleeps with us so he was extremely unsettled as a result and he did not sleep and obviously my husband and I didn’t either. The following morning before breakfast at 8.30 am we went to reception again. We were told that the travel company had never passed on the additional information regarding needing a cot and that is why it hadn’t been provided. It took a further two hours for housekeeping to finally bring a travel cot to our room. Our baby needed a nap during this time especially after such a bad nights sleep and had to sleep in a buggy until the cot was provided. Thankfully the baby was much happier and slept well for the remainder of the trip in the cot. It was extremely disappointing that our first night/ day was impacted as a result of this oversight from Budget Travel. While the issue was resolved in the end, it would make me reluctant to book through Budget Travel again.

I just wanted to write about one of your staff members in the budget travel USA teams Andrew.I had originally booked a holiday to Florida with him for this June and found him so helpful. With the unrest in the US at the moment we decided to move our booking to next year and Andew was so helpful and patient, he put a lot of time into making sure we got the best deal possible and took his time making sure I was happy. I just wanted to say he was very professional to work with, I have worked in telesales in the past and it’s not an easy job and I imagine holiday sales isnt easy either. This is our third time travelling with budget travel to Florida and each time the service has been fantastic. Our last trip we had to move twice because of covid and it was never an issue. Highly recommend

Stayed in New Yorker hotel. After paying in full for the holiday was informed I had to pay local tax for 7 days as its classes as a resort??? Extra on arrival it was €360. Why not inform you before you pay in full? I

The hotel advertised an outside bar but u have to hire to use it. No resident bar available. There are 2 bars on site in restaurants but not comfortable or nice to sit at. Very small bathroom no where to put anything it falls off shelves in bathroom. No shower gel provided only small soaps which I found dangerous. No shower cap No pad or pen. View was great and location was great. Beds way too small we were a party of 3 got 2 very small double beds my kids didn’t sleep well. Asked for bigger bed €70 a night to upgrade. Informed budget who did nothing to improve my situation. Told me that’s the standard. Why not inform me before I booked. Told me ask at reception I did nothing available.
I discovered Penn station right Accross from hotel if you take the air train from jfk and change at Jamaica station it’s only around €30 a cab is €100 no working lift so luggage is a problem. No tourist maps available in hotel or info on public transport.
Ongoing roadworks all night going on outside the hotel for duration of our stay we were on 35 th floor but could hear the noise. Why were we not informed on check in and by Budget travel? Back to Trailfinders next trip.

Reply from Budget was unhelpful. The renovations were going on inside the hotel they tried to deny this. They said fee was included in price. They should have told me bed size would not suit two teens I would have booked larger room. I received info after I booked about resort fees. Budget did nothing to help Trailfinders would have acted differently. To refer to my problems as minor issues really tells you the kind of people you are dealing with. Valuable lesson learnt this trip.
Second feedback again I was not told about resort fees until after I paid for my trip. I was told before departure to the us but I had paid so I was hardly going to cancel my trip. I would prepare to be told before I paid. Not all hotels have this resort fee. The bed size was known to budget travel who failed to tell me the double bed was small. Surely if the travel agent is aware the beds are small they would inform a client prior to departure again budget travel did not inform me. The road works were happening outside however the noise I experienced was inside and again Budget travel unaware of the refurbishment going on inside the hotel. To keep repeating in their reply the minor issues I had really is not productive or professional. What budget travel deem minor to someone on holiday is anything but minor. I have learned from this experience and I would not travel or recommend budget travel to anyone.

We are just back from holiday that we got from BudgetTravel. We want to say a huge thank you to Aoife, for helping us with every detail,organising everything for our family. Everything was really good, we enjoyed the trip, hotel was good, nice restaurant (we had HB package), lovely city, sea and sunny weather.
There are lots of activities provided by hotel, events and evening concerts, bingo and quiz games, and there is a huge entertainment park nearby, PortAventura World and Ferrari Park, for Easter holidays-the perfect place for kids and adults!Really appreciate your profesionalism!Definitely, we will recommend BudgetTravel to our friends and we will contact you soon for our future holidays

I booked an "All Inclusive Holiday" for 2 adults and 2 children. I received no confirmation but could see on banking 365 that the amount was in progress to leave my account. I rang Budget Travel, I could not get through to the department I needed to speak with. I left a voice message and called back shortly after. I got through to yet another department. I was offered a quote €188.00 more expensive. I rang back Budget Travel, and reluctantly agreed to a compromise of €92.00 additional to what I had previously agreed to pay. I now see that it has decreased by €27.00 to the original price I had seen over the weekend. This price had reduced the morning I had booked, only to be charged extra after ringing to request a confirmation. The staff I dealt with was pleasant however it was not the nicest of booking experiences.

Helpful, access coulf be improvef for those with poor online skills.
