One star as there’s no zero. Paid for express 1-2 days delivery got it in four (more than normal delivery) and then received the wrong product.

My experience with BuyTech has been utterly unacceptable. They are holding my payment for a device I cannot use and have shown a complete failure in customer service.

I purchased a Google Pixel 10 Pro on Sunday 26 October. After two days, I noticed the phone had a severe manufacturing defect: dead pixels causing an egg-shaped black space in the camera recess. I notified the retailer immediately upon discovering this flaw.

The retailer's response has been evasive and dishonest:

False Damage Claim: They claimed a 'scratch' was present upon collection. I have provided dated, high-resolution photographs proving the phone was in 100% perfect, scratch-free cosmetic condition before they took possession, which they have ignored.

Poor Communication & Stalling: All follow-up communication has required me to constantly instigate contact. The retailer provides no updates and simply tells me to 'wait,' leaving me without a functioning phone and with my money tied up.

Refusal to Offer Choice: Despite their own policy promising a refund or replacement for a defective item, they are forcing the device into an unauthorized repair process. I have clearly stated that I want a replacement for the defective unit or a full refund, but they are not giving me this choice. My latest request for a refund has been met with silence.

This is not how a defective product issue should be handled. The retailer is actively avoiding their responsibility to provide a non-defective product or a full refund. I urge potential buyers to be extremely cautious.

10 November update — I still haven’t heard back from this company, and they’ve stopped responding to my messages. What’s even more concerning is that they appear to have purchased fake Google reviews. Last night they had 10 reviews, and by this morning there were suddenly 27 — all five stars, all posted at the same time, and all from India, which is unfortunately well known for fake Google review activity. This is extremely dishonest and misleading. Please be cautious and do not trust this company.
