I had a great experience buying my betta antuta from this seller. The process was smooth and the fish I received are in perfect condition. The bettas are of great quality and a good size. I hope they start breading soon. The shipping package was great too. Fish were very well protected in transit. I will buy again and recommend.

I ordered 6 betta coccina persephone and all six arrived healthy, however it was a full 3 weeks before they shipped. The 3 week wait wouldn't have been an issue had there been a disclaimer on the website or puchase email stating the fish were in quarantine. My second issue is despite it being winter the fish were shipped without a heat pack. They were foam insulated and brought in as soon as they arrived, but despite that when I opened up their box they were really cold. I will order from bwa again but probably not in winter

I picked up my Betta from BW Aquatics in person and had the chance to meet Anh and see the facility. I had decided that I specifically wanted a wild-type Betta, and BW Aquatics specializes in them. The operation is small but extremely organized, and it was clear the fish are very well cared for. I saw the breeding tanks and how they manage and quarantine the fish, which gave me a lot of confidence in how they run things.

On the business side I dealt with Rich, who was very responsive and fair throughout the process.

When I first got my fish (Khan) he was very pale with a stress stripe, and Ahn explained that this is normal because bettas often lighten during transport. He was absolutely right. Once Khan settled in, the transformation was amazing — the colors came in beautifully.

He even transitioned onto Fluval Bug Bites after a little persistence. He was mouthing pellets from day one, and now he’s actively hunting for crumbs in the sand.

Overall it was a great experience. I would absolutely buy wild-type Betta fish from BW Aquatics again and would recommend them to anyone looking for healthy, well-raised wild Betta fish.

This company is small and amazing ! Can’t wait for them to expand! Fishes are kept in well conditions and the owner really takes care of brand .

The betta fish arrived safely despite it being 2nd day shipping. Please feed the fish frozen bloodworms the fish would enjoy it. The fish will be shy for the first few days FYI and it will hide. This kind of betta prefers planted tanks instead of artificial. You can put this fish with other fish that would not harm it.
