My daughter had a great experience with her 2 tutors at Caledonia Tutors. They were knowledgeable, patient, and tailored lessons to fit her needs. The sessions were clear and engaging, and she always felt supported. She has been accepted to the University of her choice to study architecture and their support has undoubtedly played a key role in her achieving these results!

We are absolutely delighted with Caledonia Tutors and would 100% recommend them for anyone looking for a good tutor for their child studying for exams (Nat 5s or Highers). With weekly online sessions with Katie our son went from a C in Nat 5 Physic’s prelims to A Band 1 final result. The sessions were convenient and easy to access online. Katie was reliable, friendly, did lots of past paper practice and worked through any problem areas and explained things in a way that worked so well. We’re absolutely delighted and have recommended them to friends already.

I found tutors for English, Biology and Chemistry advanced highers. I worked with Elsie, Ben and Bob and they were all so helpful and reliable. Each lesson was tailored to my needs and when i came to a lesson with something slightly different or a new question all tutors adjusted accordingly.
Would definitely recommend all!

Our daughter was a bit low on confidence in maths after starting in high school. Caledonia Tutors put us in touch with Katie, and they have had regular lessons online for most of the last year.

The result has been better than we hoped - thanks to Katie's ability to explain, encourage and listen to what she needed, our daughter has not just become much more confident but has also started to enjoy maths and even excel in it - she was so proud to get full marks in a recent exam.

The teaching has focused on filling gaps in her understanding, explaining strategies and giving her the tools to engage more fully in class. It's made a huge difference and we couldn't be happier.

The online sessions work well from a technical point of view, too. It's a fantastic service.

From a parents perspective, Tommy has been a fantastic help to my son in Nat 5 Engineering Science, hugely increasing his confidence in a short space of time.

My son Reuben had a maths tutor, Katie Heggie, from Caledonia Tutors. I would recommend Katie to anyone looking for a maths tutor as her ability to get the best out of my son has really impressed me. Katie is diligent and has a really flexible approach to tutoring, and the improvement in my son's understanding is obvious.

My daughter used Clare for French Nat 5 tutoring. She wasn't initially keen on online tutoring but Clare built up a great rapport with her and has really helped to increase her confidence in the subject. All interactions with Aidan to set this up have been really helpful and responses have been quick. Overall we've had a great experience.

Lydia Johnston has been tutoring our son for the last two years, initially for Nat 5 Biology and this year for Higher Human Biology. She’s been a fantastic tutor - focussed and knowledgeable - and most importantly able to make the lessons enjoyable and engaging.
Our son was delighted to pass his exam last year with an A grade and is hoping to do well this year too. He’s enjoyed the subject so much that he’s chosen to continue to Advanced Higher.

We have been using Gregor and Katie to support our two sons with Maths and both have been fantastic. Providing a bespoke learning for each boy's level and giving them confidence. Our sons come off their online lessons saying how much they have enjoyed them which is not what they say when we try to do Maths homework with them! Highly recommend.

My son has been working with Will and Arron for his Nat 5 English and Maths tuition in the lead-up to his exams. He has thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of his lessons and has built a fantastic relationship with both tutors. Thanks to their support, he has made huge progress and is now performing at his highest level in both subjects. His confidence has grown immensely, and he is always eager for his lessons. He’s already asked to continue with Will and Arron at Higher level, which speaks volumes! I highly recommend Caledonia Tutors – they’ve made a real difference.

Since my son started taking Chemistry lessons with Logan, he is a lot more confident with the subject and is also very appreciative of Logan's tutoring approach. Logan put his learning needs at the forefront by 1) ensuring my son was getting the maximum out of every lesson and 2) tailoring the lessons to suit his individual needs and being flexible with adhoc support too.
