I swear, this app is absolute rubbish. I just made 30 calls to pitch my service, and they banned my number claiming I was spamming. You can’t even make 30 calls on their $15 package it is a total wast... Toon meer

I don't understand if they have bots replying or humans but it is just superb customer support that happens in minutes. Never seen customer service like this with other large platforms and marketplace... Toon meer

French number has stopped working!
This was fine but now the French number does not work. the company has emailed admitting that there is a problem with their French provider and my number could be down for a couple of weeks or maybe never! It's been down a week so far and has caused huge inconvenience to me!

Hi Ashley. You are right to be upset. As you are aware, our previous number provider for French numbers was closed for lack of compliance, with no prior warning to us. We have since been approved for as a direct operator with the French authorities. Rerouting our old number ranges takes some time, and is a process we don’t control ourselves. A great Skype replacement for iPad
This company describes itself as the ideal replacement for Skype, and I have to agree. Tech support answered several questions quickly before I signed up and the registration process for me was flawless. I got an account, paid for a number and SMS messaging, and it all just works. Messaging is reliable and calls, both in and out, are clear. The app, both on the iPad and Mac, work well with address book, voice-mail, chat logging, and very clear credit balance display. It will import Skype chat history once you export from Skype. Very good price for, so far, flawless service.

call.com - don't bother. Too hard.
Positives. Probably the cheapest on the web and on paper, a viable alternative to skype. In/out call and sms, virtual international numbers. Responsive (albeit rude) C/S.
Negatives. An absurb on-boarding process. I could not for the life of me create an account. Every time you request an SMS (verification), there is a 60min timeout (WTF?) preventing you from trying again.
There's no explanation though. You literally have no idea why you can't log on. I tried 3 different numbers to try and acheive an account and was frustrated at every turn.
I used the 60min profitably however and opened an account with a provider that knows what they are doing. The final death knell? I got kicked of call.com for having 'multiple accounts'. Yeah, that's because your process was so flawed. Oh the irony.
