Had a ups email that said it dropped off my parcel at Alberta beach cpc. I went to the Canada Post and all they say is that it's not a cpc tracking number and no idea where my parcel is. Are they upset they lost wages and enjoy messing with the customer?

The Canada Post Facebook page conveniently does have an option to leave a comment. Go back to November prior to the strike, my parents paid to have a package containing my birthday gift and Christmas gifts for our 5 year old to be delivered from Ontario to me in Alberta within 5 days. It never arrived before the strike. During the strike we moved and paid for mail forwarding but I've learned that this may not apply to packages. The package arrived at our previous address this week and has since been sent on its way back to my parents. My parents called Canada Post to see if it can be turned around to our new address. They won't turn it around and won't refund my parents on their (Canada Post's) failed ability to deliver in time since they told my parents that strike was not their fault... well it sure as shit wasn't my parents fault and yet they are out the funds. I have never been a fan of Canada Post, but this is utterly ridiculous and shifty service. I have no words, I do but I can't share them here.

I love the people of Saint-Lazare post office, they are really nice. However, this strike of theirs cost me my tiny business this year. I was unable to fulfill my orders except for a few I delivered myself within the area. The Holiday season is the biggest sales time for me. I had to close and have no idea what happens to me next. However nice these employees are, their strike, syndicate, selfishness cost me a big part of my livelihood! Congratulations of impacting other people in the worst way possible so you can get more money. Canada Post is due to disappear. They'll understand then :(

This strike is a joke. Canada Post employees are heartless to do this right before the holidays. Many people (like myself) live in rural areas and depend on deliveries, especially this time of year. My holidays are ruined as are many other Canadians. Why did these employees take the job to begin with if they didn't like the wages, etc....this whole thing turns my stomach. I hope they go bankrupt and are forced to privatize it and why hasent the federal government stepped up to the plate and force them back to work? Like I said in my opening....what a joke

I hope CUPW union shuts down and Canada Post gets privatized, then at least it will be a company that will work, literally.

Worst delivery service in the country. Often lose packages, very slow, careless.
I am disabled, and thanks to their selfish strike, I can not get my parts that I need to make money. I also can not get my arthritis medication.
They're costing this disabled guy money and health.
Their service sucks, why do they think they should get paid more? Be happy with the benefits, pension and pay you all recieve as is. Greedy and pathetic.

Useless. Stop being lazy and get back to work.

Shame on you Canada Post! This is absolutely terrible. Going on strike and impacting so many innocent people should be a sackable offence!!!
You don't like your job, go find another one.
Don't be such stupid little individuals and be guided by the pompous - no doubt well paid - power hungry union bosses. Just do your own thinking for a change and try to imagine what it is like for all these people who will not receive their pension cheques and therefore can't buy food and pay bills, not to mention all the other deliveries they are missing out on....even medication in some cases. Disgusting!

I find it heartbreaking to read about people unable to pay their bills or afford food or heat during the holidays. It makes me livid that that useless union would do such a thing to its own citizens. There are many people living on the edge and food is very expensive and to cause such hardship is inhumane. Even more galling is that postal workers make a decent salary for an easy job (paid by taxpayer’s dollars!!!) Outrageous!! Our pension cheques come from the US and now bills will bounce and no one will get anything for Christmas. CP needs to be privatized and they need to fire everyone and start over with people who desperately deserve employment. Stand up Canada. Let’s stop this shit!

Horrible company. Hurting the economy and small businesses - which represents the every people. If you don’t like your pay go get another job. Abysmal business I will never use again. Cost me thousands of dollars this year

Your strike is hurting many, many people. I’m disabled, living cheque to cheque, and this month i get no food, no medication, threats to have my power/water/energy turned off. My home insurance is going to be very late, and Christmas time is coming. Not that i’m able to have Christmas anyway, but 1 nice supper a year would be nice. I get screwed by Sunlife as it is, now with your contribution delaying everything for as long as you have, plus no end in sight, what does one do?? Get some disabled people in there to sort the mail! I NEED my disability cheque!!!

Legal documents stuck in the mail.
Other courier’s are now over encumbered.
Drivers don’t attempt delivery even when they are working.
Time to hire all new people.
They are out there and willing to work.

They ruined holiday season with this strike, so many presents and packages delays now.... Not fair to Canadians people!

No need to strike every other year, if you don't like your job quit. Lots of people looking for work.
It's entry level positions...no degree needed, therefore no need for outrageous pay.
I live rural so no options but Canada post at the present time.
This song and dance with them is getting old.

Christmas is not coming to our house. We have been awaiting checks in the mail that would fund things like heat for our house and food for our fridge and maybe a special something for a loved one, but instead, (because of the selfishness of overpaid and underperforming postal workers) it looks like christmas dinner will be the best we can make from our 1st trip to the food bank. I hope for Christmas that you all get fired!

You are all useless as it gets. Our stuff is being held hostage. I asked a canada post worker if i could get the where abouts so i could to pick it up anywhere in nova scotia canada but they said no. Unreal that they can hold it hostage when you are the one that bought it. Get bent canada post. I will never go out of my way to use your service. Hope you all become homeless and its unbeleiveable you get paid to strike i heard. You should all get fired... eat shit

Selfish idiots can get their ass back to work

Greedy over paid. Planning a strike during Christmas is low and selfish. A new postal system needs to takes over, one not run by a greedy union.
