I ran the Two Towers and it was a brilliant experience. From the very warm welcome, the smooth registration, the marked course, well stocked aid stations and fantastic, helpful and supportive volunteers. The congratulations received on finishing along with the medal. All in all a brilliant event. Run very well and all for a good cause. I will wear my canary with pride.

What a great event. Lovely but tough course. Marshals where brilliant, cheerful & supportive. Will definitely be doing more of Canary Trail events.

The event was very well organised from the beginning to the end of the day. The support team were fantastic and made sure that everyone was really well looked after. It was a very friendly event and everyone made to feel welcome. The run itself was tough but worth it for the amazing views you got. An added bonus was that you got to run with a rhino and help raise money for two charitable causes. The medals plus rhino coasters are pretty unique! How about a T shirt for next year which could be an added extra in the entrance fee? All in all a great event which I would definitely recommend.

CTE races are awesome, tailored for runners seeking to challenge themselves and do it in beautiful settings. The Surrey Hills never cease to amaze and the organisers, local to the area, hand-pick the paths with passion and ultra-runners in mind, being ones themselves! They are very friendly and create their races for the pure love of the sport. Amen to that.

A really lovely crowd of runners and organisers. Beautiful (but challenging!) route with attention to detail. Thank you Canary Trail! Save the Rhinos!! ❤️

I joined the Canary Trails navigation course on Saturday- really useful to gain the basics of map reading & compass use. The leads were knowledgeable, friendly & relaxed. Good to put the learning into practice with a short exercise up on the North Downs in the afternoon. Would definitely recommend.

The team was efficient and organized, yet the whole thing felt fun, friendly and welcoming.
Loved the race, loved the multitude of chats before and after, love the memories.

These events are not for the faint hearted but are so rewarding when you have finished. The organisers are so welcoming and friendly it makes you sign up again.

I did the Navigation Skills course yesterday and loved it!!

So informative and a really great mix of theory and practical, in a wonderful location.

Excellent value for money too.

Would really recommend this course if you want to refresh yourself on how to read a map, use a compass and take bearings. It was perfectly pitched, with theory in the morning and a practical exercise in the afternoon on the North Downs - all within walking distance. All very relaxed and fun. Also with the early start, it only took 50 minutes to get there from NW London.

I’ve just completed the Canary Trails navigation skills course. We learnt about map reading and use of a compass, then spent a beautiful sunny afternoon using those skills in the Surrey Hills. Very relaxed day but very informative and has given me a lot more confidence out on the trails. Now all I’ve got to do I’d refold my map….

Stunning course, with plenty of runnable bits despite the elevation profile. Really well organised and great value for money. Great support out on course as well as at the start and finish. Lovely sustainable medals/winners prizes too. Highly recommend this event and Canary Trail Events.
