I have been a customer of this company for many years, and they were good for a while, but for the last few years, service has taken a big hit as Cannon cars seem to have introduced some really rude and unprofessional drivers. In my last trip, the driver was extremely rude, arrived 15 minutes late, and gave rude replies to every single question. He took a long detour, probably to save on fuel, adding 25 minutes to the journey, and when asked about the route, I was told to shut up, as he claimed he knows the route much better than I or Google Maps. This is unfortunately not the first time that the driver was rude, as I have faced rude drivers in my last few trips with Cannon Cars as well, but this is probably the worst experience. On this occasion, various websites like Google Maps were suggesting that M25 was a much better option, but it seems Cannon cars have no respect for their customers (even though I have travelled in this route many times) and thinks they know better than all other verified and internationally accepted sources. To top it all, the fares are exorbitant. I may not use their services again.

Do not use Cannon Cars, the management and office do not care about their customers at all! I booked at taxi, to pick me up at 0150 on Saturday 6th December from Gatwick Airport. I checked the app when getting off the plane and it said no driver had been assigned, I naively assumed that this was a mistake and there would be someone waiting in arrivals. After a long and difficult flight, you would expect your driver to be waiting, but there was no one there when we came through to arrivals. I checked the app again whilst we were waiting in arrivals (it was 0150, the time of pick-up) and only then did it say a driver had been assigned and they were currently 1 HOUR AWAY!! I rang the office to query, to which they said “Oh, it shouldn’t be that long, maybe 30 MINUTES!”. If you book a cab for particular time, for the driver to have not even been assigned at the time of pick up is not acceptable! I got told to ring back during the week to speak to management about compensation and a complaint. I did this, I rang back at 11am on Wednesday 10th, someone in the office took my name, number and message and I was told it would be passed to management who would ring me back later that day. Well, it is now 4 days later and still no-one has bothered to ring me. It is quite clear that the management and office staff do not care about their customers or the service they provide. It is a shame, I have used Cannon Cars for over 15 years and the drivers have always been professional and polite. However, over the last year or 2 there has been nothing but problems and delays with pick-ups, all down to management and office staff assigning drivers too late and not caring about the ordinary customer. Unfortunately, I will now no longer use Cannon Cars and will find a reliable, professional and trustworthy cab firm instead.

People who rely on cabs like cannon cars to take them home from their night out (eg nightclubs). What the cannon cars ought to realise that, being unreilable & being late for their shedauled pick ups, they're making their young passengers wide open to being raped , mugged or attacked.
This messge goes out to all drivers,
If you don't want your younger passengers to be raped, mugged or attacked , whilst waiting for you to arrive to take them home, then, please make sure you arrive on that pick up time as promised & not to be late. If you cant get there on time due to issues like stuck in traffic, please ring up your passengers to let them know you'll be late & why, its extremely important that they're given a reason why, & you'll get there as quickly as you're abled to
I have used this company a few times before without problems, but this time the driver failed to arrive on time and it took several attempts to get someone to answer the phone at the Beckenham office. The responder, though apologetic, was unable to give an arrival time, and after the second call he responded unprofessionally, complaining that "people had been giving him stick since 5:30 am". Clearly the service was falling apart that day, and the driver arrived 30 minutes late without any explanation. I have lost trust in this company.

Terrible service, allows you to book a car for a specific time and when you call to ask where your car is (after the time it should already be there) they inform you it could be up to half an hour arrival from the time you asked to be picked up! There is no mention of this when you book on the app, will not be using again.

Return trip to Epsom race course. Both trips were excellent. Punctual, helpful, safe drivers. Assisted with folding and, storing the wheelchair, and flexible in organising additional drop offs on the return journey. Great communication too, thank you.

I always use this firm to take my daughter home who lives around 45 minutes away and has severe mental health and I am always impressed with the efficiency and kindness from the drivers, I normally book online it’s easy secure and convenient but on a couple of occasions I have called up and the customer service I have received has been very good. I used them for an airport run in may to and from and I just can not find fault my experience has always been very pleasant

I was so disappointed to be let down yet again by another cab company. After booking the cab for a Drs appointment they didn't turn up. I called them - very sorry etc 15 mins. 45 mins later I was told he'd arrived, but when I went outside he was nowhere to be seen!

I booked Cannon Cars in advance to ferry 7 of us from Chelsfield station to Cudham and return in the afternoon. The cars were there absolutely on time and the drivers were polite and helpful. I would definitely use this company again.
Appalling service and attitude from the Cannon Cars office. Booked 2 taxis - both were 25 mins late - I had to call the office to query where my taxis were and they were apparently in the process of calling everyone. On the return journey booked for 22.45 - I called to query and asked for a discount due to the delay. When the taxi arrived, I was asked to pay upfront as my request for a discount due to the delay was interpreted as I would not be paying. I complained and I presume it was the manager offered me a generous discount on my next booking. I have queried what a generous discount meant and how he could guarantee my next booking would be on time. Unsurprisingly I have yet to receive a response.
After booking a cab for my very elderly parents for 6:45am. The cab did not turn up. When I rang the office the simply said that the cab drivers are self employed and can do what they want. But to make it so much worse, they don't call you to tell you that the cab isn't going to arrive!! And when you complain the just dont care. Horrible Service

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND AVOID.
These people are basically scammers/tax avoiders.
They will quote you a price, send you an invoice for that price and once you’ve reached your destination they’ll ask you to pay 20% VAT on top of the price they originally quoted unless you pay them cash! Tax dodgers who even threatened to call the police if I did not pay the 20% added at the last minute. Disgusting.
I recently did a review on how come I paid a different price to what I was quoted on my outward journey, to their credit they contacted me immediately and explained and resolved the issue,So well done Cannon Cars and thumbs up 👍👍
