Do not recommend this company
I would not recommend this company. Our initial quote was €1,500, which unexpectedly increased to €7,500 once they exposed the roof. This left us feeling caught between a rock and a hard place, and I would strongly advise others to seek a second opinion before agreeing to any work.
They were very pushy about getting paid but failed to provide a receipt for full payment of the work, despite their website stating that all work is covered by a guarantee. I was also concerned about their safety practices. One worker was left alone on the roof all day, with no one returning during lunch breaks. For safety reasons, no one should be left to carry out roof work alone. When I raised this, I was told they were insured, which completely missed the point, as my concern was for the worker’s safety, not liability.
I would not recommend this company based on my experience. After providing the initial quote, they left their ladders behind, which created pressure to proceed. We were then asked to pay a deposit for materials immediately, without time to properly consider the quote.
They stated that they would clean up after the work, but when the job was finished, they said they would return on Tuesday to complete the clean up. When they requested final payment, I explained that I would pay once the clean up was done. At that point, they were suddenly able to complete it straight away.
I would advise others to shop around. In my case, they have not responded to my request for a receipt.
