I’ve had the VeloElite 55mm Carbon wheelset with DTSwiss 240 hubs on my bike now for 3 years,
They are nice & light & roll extremely well,
At this price point I would say they are as good as it gets.

Over the last few years, I’ve had two sets of road wheels from Tom — gloss 38mm DT240s, and a pair of matte 44m DT180s — and both of them have been faultless. Not only do you get as close as a bespoke service as you could hope for, Tom builds them by hand in-house, and more importantly advises you on which wheel set is best for you personally as a rider. As a result, the wheels will feel even better than you had dreamt!

I was fortunate enough to build my “dream bike” just over a year ago, and there was no doubt in my mind where the wheels were coming from. VéloElite. Give them a go, you won’t regret it.

These are by far the best wheels I’ve had on all my bikes & I’ve had 4 sets off Tom now for various road bikes & for my TT bike. (They always get compliments)
The hub options he gives you aswell is fantastic, from Chris kings to Dt Swiss all dependant on your budget.

Fantastic product range, with excellent customer service! - I've just ordered my fifth set of VeloElite wheels in preparation for a competitive gravel season. If you're experienced and know what you're after, your options can produce something completely bespoke; yet equally if unknowing, Tom's expertise and range of suppliers can tailor something specific to your riding. I've continued to recommend these wheels time over; unbeatable where value is concerned.

Purchased a set of 50mm road wheels with DT240 hubs and have stuck over 2000 miles on them and they have been absolutely flawless. Still as true as the day I bought them. Really great quality.

I’ve had my VeloElite carbon MTB and road wheels for a few years now, and they’ve been flawless. I'm particularly tough on wheels especially for my MTB so it's a true testament to the skill that has gone into the build. I would and I often do recommend to others.

Right from initial contact I knew I was in safe hands. I contacted VeloElite to see if they were able to secure the frame of my dreams, a Time Alpe D'huez Rim Brake. Tom assured me he could even though there was a limited run on this frame.
Communication was never a problem and updates regularly sent.
When it arrived the packaging was bomb proof and inside my frame was flawless as expected from the French Magicians.

I bought a pair of 55mm deep road wheels from VeloElite and I couldn't be happier with the product.

The team gave me some very friendly advice and guidance on which wheels would be best for the type of riding I do and they nailed it.

I replaced my parcours with VeloElite wheels and I couldn't be happier. They feel very stiff and responsive while also being stable on windy days. With a 30mm tyre fitted they are unbelievably comfortable too.

Very pleased and I will be coming back to Tom for some wheels for my MTB soon!

Tom's reputation precedes him, so when I was looking for a new bike with the best gear on he was the only choice to build it for me. The wheels are VeloElite deep section rims DT Swiss hubs with ceramic bearings: superlight, smooth as butter with razor sharp handling. After several thousand kms on the crater ridden roads of blighty, the wheels are just as good, If you want the best Tom is your man.

Fantastic customer service as always from Tom. I have been using VeloElite for the last couple of years to services and bike fittings, and finally decided to treat myself to a new set of wheels. Absolutely love them and wish I had bought a pair sooner!

When looking to purchase a new bike, I spoke to Tom who advised me on the right bike and components for my new bike. When we discussed the right wheels for me, taking into consideration, my weight, type of riding I would be doing, basically, making wheels that were bespoke for me. I chose DT Swiss hubs with 44m carbon rims which Tom built to my requirements.
The service is second to none which is why I rate VeloElite, 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So impressed with the service, I’ve been back to Tom to purchase another bike and wheels and will always use his professional service, whenever I need his help and opinion with my bikes.

I've had various wheels from tom including a set of cyclo-cross wheels with hope hubs, a set of disc brake wheels for road racing and most recently a deep section TT front wheel which helped me go sub 19 minutes for 10 miles. The quality is second to none, and every set of wheels can be configured for various budget levels. You simply cannot get this level of service buying wheels from big name brands, and at the price point it feels like a hidden gem! Tom is incredibly helpful throughout the design and build process.

Tom (who hand builds each of these wheels along with his team in the UK) is extremely helpful and possesses the rare combination of being an absolute expert in what he does, but also being helpful, patient and generous with his time to provide insightful advice and finding the right wheel for your specific use.

I have bought a set of matt black carbon wheels (44mm depth with 240 DT Swiss hubs) and loved the wheels so much that I ended up buying another set of wheels for my other bike (50mm depth with 180 DT Swiss hubs) in black gloss.

Thoroughly recommend the wheels and the excellent service.

I have used VeloElite Carbon Wheels three times now. My first purchase was a set of Winter wheels. We looked at several options and considered which bike I would be using. I was supported throughout the process and we worked to find the perfect balance having considered many options for rims, hubs and spokes. The wheels are bombproof. My 2nd purchase was for my summer bike where I wanted something that looked good as well as performing for me. We chose wavy gloss rims coupled with DT Swiss 240s and Sapim spokes with brass nipples. I get compliments on these wheels all the time, they look great and are absolutely solid. My final purchase was to have an old pair of wheels re-built. They were stripped back to bare rims and hubs, and new spokes and nipples were installed. Consultation and updates throughout the process were the reason I went back again and I wouldn't use anyone else from now on.

The service level offered by this business is something they should be proud of. From start to finish the customer was always put first. The product ie the wheels are of great quality, better than brands over double the cost. I have now purchased multiple sets for various bikes.
