I received an excellent service from carbusters, their quote was the best I received, the driver who picked it up on 09.03.23 was on time, friendly, helpful and efficient even though the weather was freezing. I like to use local family firms. Would use again

I was quoted £306 for my car. Signed all the paperwork then the driver knocked on my door and said his boss said he's got to take £70 off because of the small catalytic converter!!! Err it's the one that came with the car!
YEAH right. Absolutely scam.

Offer higher prices online, and call with a reduced offer

I called to have my car scrapped they said to collect the next morning i made a request for collection on the Same day possible. The gentlemen called and said I’ve made some adjustment and I can collect the same afternoon. The driver came and was very polite. Everything was smooth and the money was transferred as mentioned in the evening @6pm.

I would use again for sure 100%. My experience was wonderful and well recommended

Had a car to scrap so I looked for a local company and came across Car Busters. Was instantly given a very reasonable quote so I agreed to the deal. Car was collected next day with no qualms, and to my surprise was paid on the same day. Can not recommend enough 5 stars without a doubt!

Scrapped my car with car busters today, only got my quote yesterday and received a call from the owner this morning offering collection today, was given a time slot and driver called an hour before to let me know he was on his way , received my money this evening as they said, very prompt and polite service from start to finish, highly recommend, thank you car busters

After reading the reviews for this company I was hesitant to use them, despite it being the best quote compared to other places. To my surprise the service was excellent, the member of staff on the phone was polite and too the point, and the welcoming staff member who collected the car was very polite an respectful despite the bad weather, overall a very good service, I'd recommend carbusters to anybody. I ignored the bad reviews an took a leap of faith and it paid off!

AWFUL
Despite reading the bad reviews on this Company I gave them the benefit of the doubt and proceeded to get a quote. They quoted my van £509 which was £20 higher then other quotes and due to their website stating the will collect within 48hours i thought it would be perfect. I accepted the quote straight away (despite having the quote secured for 7days) and they gave me a reference number and said I’d get a call / email within 48hours. 3 days passed and I still hadn’t heard anything and received an email saying my quote expired. I phoned on the day I received this email and was utterly shocked and disappointed by the rude service I received. The man on the phone was rude from the get go on the phone and stated that I needed to check the website as I didn’t have the right information. I replied and stated what was quoted on their website and said it says your quote is secure for 7 days and he just dismissed it. I really hope nobody wastes their time using this company and get the service and money they deserve elsewhere.

Absolutely disgusting.
Booked in a collection at night with the guaranteed price to receive a phone call mid morning the next day saying what they were offering online was not the price they would offer me if I was to continue with the transaction.
This phone call was no more than 40 seconds long and the phone was put down on me when I said I would accept less than the online price.

Shouldn't be allowed to trade like this.

Would not use or recommend again, this is out of order. Avoid at all costs.

Not mention of any collection times or place, no reason for a drop in price. Just a way to beat the competition to the vehicle. Disgusting working practices.

I had an online quote from this company to scrap my little clio. On accepting the offer which was higher than any others I'd had, they contacted me to arrange collection. As I was still using the car I asked for this to be delayed for 10 days and they agreed. The quote they gave had 2 options, the price they would pay if I took car to them and the price they'd pay if they were to collect. It was £30 less for them to collect the car and as I live some 20 miles away I felt that was reasonable as it saved me hassle of getting someone to follow me in order to take me home!
On the day of collection they rang me at 08.15am to advise they were on thier way. The chap who arrived was pleasant and polite, explained what I needed to know and was very efficient. He advised the money would be in paid into my bank account later that evening and this had cleared and was available to me within 24 hours of the car being collected by them. I would deffinately use these again if I needed to and would recomend to others. They were honest and polite throughout, stuck to thier word, paid what they agreed and were very efficient, thank you car busters Rugby.

After excepting the online quote, I received a call from a lovely lady who was polite and friendly and confirmed my details. Day was arranged to collect, received a call an hour before collection and they arrived on time, car was loaded and taken away and the money was in my bank the same evening.
Can't fault them at all and in the future, if I have another car to scrap I will certainly be using Car Busters!!!!!

Awful company - Called after looking online. The person that answered didn’t greet me welcoming and was very blunt. Whoever he was (apparently the owner) has incredibly bad phone etiquette. All I asked is if there was any charges and he asked “why, what car is it?” Once I told him (running 12 month taxed car) his response was “nah don’t want that car” and we aren’t collecting in that area (How convenient after telling me you don’t want it) So I asked for his name in reference to the call and he got very defensive and his response was “I don’t have to give you my name! Come down to my site and we can have a chat there” Please avoid this company as they are rude, have no manners and will probably just rip you off!

Usually there are some negative points but all I can say is from the first contact to the end I had excellent service. They came for my car at a time that was convenient to me. The driver was professional efficient and friendly putting my car on the low loader all paperwork completed and he was on his way.
Payment was in the bank the same day. They gave best value for my car and a fantastic service.

Strange in the light of other reviews, but I had disappointing experience of Carbusters. After accepting online quote for my car I had quote confirmation to say they would ‘be in touch to confirm a collection date and time,’ then nothing! They did not get in touch, chat messages were ignored and the phone unanswered. I gave up and went elsewhere!
