Poor communication and unresolved complaint
I purchased Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air-conditioning equipment from Carlton Services in August 2026.
Before placing my order, I specifically asked Carlton to confirm that the quoted units were Premium models with Wi-Fi. Carlton confirmed this in writing.
I subsequently discovered that the 7.1kW system supplied was actually from MHI's Standard Plus range, rather than the higher-spec equipment I had requested.
The delivery process was also poorly communicated. Equipment arrived in separate deliveries without advance notice, and I had to chase for updates.
I raised the specification issue directly with Carlton and was informed that it had been escalated to the Managing Director, who was contacting their supplier. Despite repeated follow-up emails, I have still not received a substantive response or proposed resolution.
I am disappointed with the incorrect information provided before purchase, the lack of communication and the handling of my complaint.
I have retained the email correspondence supporting the events described in this review, including Carlton's written confirmation regarding the product specification.
This review reflects my experience to date, and I will update it if Carlton provides a satisfactory response or resolution.
