Carmarthen Camera’s provided excellent service, 5 stars! I ordered a Kodak Pixpro FZ55 off of them on the Thursday and by 5pm it had been shipped and the next day at 10:30am it was delivered. After waiting weeks from other retailers who let you order despite it being back ordered and out of stock, this order was so quick, smooth and effortless. When I had questions they answered them promptly and informatively on the live chat option. I’m really happy with the speed and efficiency in which my order was sorted and delivered. Thanks so much!

I purchased a used lens from CC that was in Mint (as new) condition and was cheaper than other one's that were available in a worse condition. Placed the order Sat morning and didn't select priority delivery but it still arrived next day and packaged really well.

I needed some accessories for my Nikon Coolpix P1100 and the service provided by Carmarthen Cameras was of the highest quality. Each time I contacted them they were very knowledgeable and helpful and clearly experts in photography equipment.

Even though I spoke to different people the service was always fantastic so they must have a really customer focused ethos. A big thank you to Jaye who spent a lot of time answering my questions and understanding what I wanted to achieve. Jaye recommended a different product to the one I was going to buy due to the large lens on my Nikon Coolpix. My order of various accessories arrived within 2 days and the tripod is perfect for my camera.

Absolutely brilliant, I bought myself a telescope from eBay, I needed a lens and duly bought one from the above, because of my inexperience I purchased the wrong type, after a few chats with Joe the lens was sent back and although they didn’t have what I needed, he still took the time to suggest other options and accessories, even to a point of sending me email links, fantastic service, once I get up to speed, I’ll definitely be back

I bought a camera from there and they said delivered but I do not have camera. I do not why still waiting response so I could say that custoner service is not great. I hope I could have my refund

Bought my last two cameras from here and will buy my next. I really think we need to support local camera shops before they all disappear.

Having said that, the support isn’t great. With the last camera, they didn’t have one for display and were loathe to let me handle a for sale item. Which of course had no charge in the battery. Also the assistant knew nothing about the camera. I only mention this because handling cameras and asking questions is the reason to use a shop instead of online.
Prices are reasonable. Not as much second hand as I would like. No response to emails.

1st time using Carmarthen cameras and it was a great experience.
Friendly knowledgeable staff member that helped me straight away sort a Bluetooth connection issue.
Would recommend to all, 5 stars .

I found Carmarthen Cameras a very helpful and professional company. I purchased my Used Leica Q3, from them. As described and photographed on their website. When the camera arrived it came very quickly and well packed.
All original boxes, and as new condition better than I expected.
I was very pleased with the service I received, and will use again when I need another purchase.

I bought a Fujifilm X100VI from Carmarthen Cameras and the service was excellent start to finish.
I asked for a delayed ship date which was arranged on the phone and the camera arrived promptly on the day I requested.

Bought an item from their EBay site. True to the company promise, it was dispatched the same day and arrived early the next morning. There was a slight issue and I rang the store. Absolutely brilliant response from Tim and a replacement item was delivered less than 24 hours later. They were very customer focussed and eager to please. It was a first rate service

I placed on order on Friday 3 Jan 2025 which duly appeared as a pending charge on my credit card. It was before 3pm so same day dispatch was promised.

On Saturday 4 January, seeing that no dispatch confirmation had been sent I followed up my order status only to find it had been cancelled, no reason given, charge still pending on my credit card. There was no proactive follow-up communication from the supplier to inform me they had unilaterally decided to cancel my order.

I contacted Camarthen Cameras and after lengthly discussion the customer service operator couldn't give me a reason other than 'it had been automatically cancelled by the system'. He did not understand why, so could provide no constructive feedback about what the issue was and if it would recur on a subsequent order. Not wanting to go through the frustration a second time I have decided to let the order lapse and search for a more competent supplier.

Please be aware of this issue if you decide to place an order with this supplier.

I ordered a brand new printer off Amazon - paid for delivery and it turned out Carmarthen Cameras were fulfilling the order.
This was meant to be a Xmas present and it arrived via an eBay box.!
Unsealed Canon parcel on the inside so who knows where this "brand new" order had come from? To add insult to injury - I had to pay to return a parcel I had already paid Amazon Prime for. Sorry for whoever Carmarthen Cameras palms this off to as a "new product" but it clearly wasn't.

Edit: I sent the printer back and still have not been given my refund nearly 6 weeks later. Sadly, I lost my proof of posting and so Amazon can't do anything.

Not a business I will ever use again and if you want to believe their reply to me below - good luck to you.

I drove three hours each way to collect a lens that other suppliers had let me down on delivery for. A quick phone call to Joe who was immensely helpful and sent me a cart link with the order pre-filled. He couldn't have made it easier. On arrival I was promptly sorted with the lens and splashed out on a second, used zoom lens while I was there. Their website will be my first stop for camera gear going forward - had I called them just an hour earlier yesterday they could have arranged next day delivery so no reason at all not to start here in future. Customer service lives!

I contacted the team at Carmarthen Cameras a few weeks ago with a query about binocular repairs and the staff were incredibly helpful in getting everything sorted. I greatly appreciated the support they provided and would highly recommend Carmarthen Cameras to anyone in need of expert advice and repairs.
