Cards are great!
Cards are great!
I haven't played with it much, and there's not a ton to say about playing cards... But they're easy to read and they look good. Good versatility in options for games. Card quality is pretty typical, they have the linen laminate stock that most playing cards use (just like the common aviator/bicycle decks). I haven't properly broken them in, but they seem like they'd hold up well over use.
Cards are same width as a conventional playing card but "shorter" because they're square... which makes "fanning" in your hand a tiny bit awkward and a bridge shuffle is tricky, but that's my only "complaint"... given that the intent of the deck is more based around 'versatility' so it can be used for a lot of different games (including checkers/chess) that was always going to be the case.
If you're really just wanting a "deck of cards" and are super serious about your poker playing, this might not be the product for you. If you're looking for a lot of casual games in a compact package this is a great little kit at a great price.

Beautiful Products, Quick Delivery
I ordered Cartesian Card's One Deck through Kickstarter and I love them. Beautiful quality cards that are clearly well planned out and engineered to give the best playing experience. Despite pandemic chaos, the company also got my product to me promptly and utterly undamaged by the overworked, understaffed postal service stations in my area. I cannot wait to try out more of their products.
