I regularly visit Cavavin! it's one of my favourite spots in town! Staff are always so lovely, warm and welcoming. It has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the cake, sambos and wine are all delish! Every staff member I have met has an immense knowledge of the products and are super friendly and helpful.

Great wine selection and excellent customer service. The deliveries have always been timely and they were very quick to deliver replacement bottles when some had been broken by the courier during transport.

Great service. Purchase arrived next day. I will use Cavavin in the future.

We had reason to visit Galway and I discovered Cavavin wine shop. It was a lovely shopping experience, the staff were so friendly and helpful and I left with a bottle of wine recommended by the staff. I'm delighted to say I have been ordering online since and am always happy with my purchases.

Personal service, chatting about travel and wine experiences. Very warm and welcoming, single bottle wrapped nicely in tissue paper and bag although not a gift. Felt my custom was valued… rare these days. My new wine shop is found.

We had a great night doing the wine tasting. There were three of us, and it was a lot of fun. The wines were very good - hence we bought eight bottles - and the talk was very informative. The accompanying cheeses and meats were very welcome too! I'd definitely recommend Cavavins for a night out with a difference.

Louise is an extremely skilled and accomplished professional topped with a charming personality and a great sense of humour. Her wine tasting experiences are interactive, easy going and filled with more than her extensive wine knowledge. Her food pairings are spot on and collaborating with local businesses makes it more inviting. The best place to learn about wines and pairings is by experience… we highly recommend Cavavin!

outstanding wine and service

We had our company night out recently and brought our clients to join us. We decided to go for a wine & cheese tasting, in their beautiful Cavavin store in Galway. We learned so much about wines and how they are produced. They also had a great selection of cheeses, cured meats, olives & bread. Overall we had a great night out and the feedback from everyone the next day was very good. I'd highly recommend for team or corporate nights out.

Great shop, fantastic wines and amazing service

Great service, selection. Of the four bottles, three were outstanding, the fourth (the barbera) well made, but a bit too classy for the grape type. We’ll be back. Thanks for being there.

Cavavin is a gem of a wine shop offering some great value wines to suit all tastes. Louise is always willing to share her expertise of wine and really listens to your requests & expectations. Suggestions have never disappointed from my favourite wine shop in Galway city. Enjoy !
