The product came promptly and well packaged. They shipped out immediately as soon as the payment went through. The wire transfer is a bugger to set up and figure out and no instruction on how to do this is provided / offered. Remotely didn’t work for some reason, my bank didn’t work immediately as well, so I had to figure it out on my own which process would work, then follow those steps.
I received an email that I had to pay duty to get it through the border or it wouldn’t be delivered and was not made aware of this in advance. The wire transfer (I was told by the bank) had a huge percentage fee on top of multiple conversion and processing fees, which I was also not made aware of when ordering as well.
I realize that things have changed with the American and Canadian govt’s recently, but these companies need to do a better job of collecting this information and posting it so customers know what they’re up against regarding time, resources, effort, and unforeseen fees. I’m certain that customers would be helpful in this process too so that others can do this more easily.
It still cost way less than in-office and I have control over how it’s done and the products are great quality, so I will purchase again, but these things do leave a bad taste in my mouth regarding customer service and accountability / responsibility and transparency. It will be easier next time since I’ve done this now.
