Cell base Redcar. Jithin went above and beyond to help me with my phone.If you need to use a mobile repair shop for repair or to purchase a new handset I highly recommend Cellbase. JITHIN IS AN ABSOLUTE ANGEL! Very knowledgeable and patient. Thankyou Cellbase 😊👍

My 83 year old Mam bought a new mobile phone from #Tesco Coulby Newham & the assistant refused to fit the SIM from her old phone into the new phone. When she tried to do it herself she found that the new phone took a Nano SIM & her old phone was a Micro SIM. She went to Cell Base in the Parkway Centre & the helpful assistant sorted it out for her & wouldn't accept payment. An excellent service (which my Mam repaid with some Greggs sandwiches & sausages rolls!) & we'll both go to Cell Base in the future.

Cannot rate this place highly enough. Broke my phone today and thought it was beyond repair. Phoned Apple and they wanted £370 and couldn't repair it for a few weeks without travelling to Newcastle. Took it over to Cell Base Coulby Newham and they repaired it in 30 mins. The repair is to a very high standard and the price very affordable. I would not hesitate to return. Thank you VERY much.

So helpful I sometimes don't have a clue but they can't do enough to help.

I’m totally fine with cell base nothing is wrong it’s just I think the guy in yarm was just lying because I want an Apple Watch so I have an iPhone XR and I either wanted a series 3 or 4 Apple Watch ok but the guy on cell base said “your IPhone XR only will work with a series 5 Apple Watch or above so I asked for the price he said about £230 so I said no cause I only want to spend £100 just so if I want to buy anything
I can cause even if I spend the £100 on an Apple Watch I’ll still have another £100 but I’ve searched all over the internet and I can’t find anything that says “to pair with an iPhone XR you must have a series 5 Apple Watch or over soo if you have any information about this please comment on this post

Cellbase & Jordan……….thank you! Amazing service, couldn’t be more helpful if they tried and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I will recommend Cellbase Yarm to everyone! I popped into the Yarm branch to see if my very old iPad could be fixed which unfortunately couldnt but Jordan helped me to transfer all my information to a new Ipad..Excellent service,went above expectations & totally solved my problem.
Very friendly & helpful..I will definitely recommend them to friends & family & use them again.

I bought an iPhone XS from Cell Base though eBay. On my order it said it was "NEW SEALED Apple iPhone XS 64GB 256GB 512GB Unlocked Device Smartphone WITH BOX"
When I had a problem of ghosting (the device entering letters and numbers without me touching the screen) I took it to my local Apple Store and they ran diagnostics and their report stated that the screen needed replacing. Additionally they told me that the phone was not new and had been first registered with them in Nov 2018.
Trying to contact Cell Base by phone and e-mail has resulted in no response at all from them. They offer a 12 months Warranty on purchases, but how can you enquire about this when they are uncontactable?

Went into Cell Base, Coulby Newham as my phone wouldn’t charge and the charge lead port was blocked. I left it for 30 mins and on return it was fixed at minimal cost. Highly recommended excellent service.

A cautionary tale for IPhone users
If you are told your i phone is water damaged beyond repair - worth taking out of case and waiting a few days to see if it dries out!!

I was informed my old phone was water damaged in Cell Base in Yarm and that I’d need a new phone as it couldn’t be repaired.
£550 later I was quite happy as staff very pleasant and helpful but now I feel v ripped off and rather stupid as when I plugged the old one in yesterday morning just to see (which was a week later) it worked.
I absolutely accept that Cell Base staff weren’t to know this but all I was offered for the phone that I bought literally 7 days before was £250!!
If I sold it to them for that they’d have effectively charged me £37.50 a day to hire a phone and also then sold it on presumably for not much less than I paid.
Never mind lesson learned - shop online next time.

iPhone screen repair in Altrincham. Took 15 mins and they fitted a protective screen cover too. The customer service was amazing. I will definitely be returning!

Mobile phone warning would not charge, called in Cell Base Coulby Newham asked if they could help, phone input cleared, sprayed and tested, working fine now.

I repaired my iPhone 12 pro max screen from cell base Redcar, good service, cost effective, fixed within half an hour. recommends to all. 5 STAR

I took my Asus laptop and phones to be wiped as they had been compromised to Cell base in Redcar.
When I returned and gave back phones I was told the laptop touchpad wasn't working it was fine when I took it in. I was told they would get a technician to try and put right. My laptop is only a few months old.
When all devices were returned and switched on it became apparent that they were still being hacked.
I kept getting a message on my laptop to say 'storage almost full'.I found this strange as it was almost new and only use it for Internet shopping.
I checked storage disk c to see it was almost full.
I returned to Cell Base and pointed this out.I was told there was nothing wrong with it and that the disk was full of Windows data.
The laptop Asus 515x had the same amount of storage as my previous laptop an Acer Aspire 3
When I compared the data stored on the Acer it was 237 GB full and still had room to store around another 500 GB.
However, the Asus laptop disk c was almost full yet it only showed 12.7 GB. with only 3.2 mg left. When I pointed this out he said that there was nothing wrong with it!!
I searched online and apparently the reason for this is usually corruption !!!.I have kept photo's.

I also took one phone back as my emails were not coming through for hours after being sent.It as if being rerouted eg I received a parcel from Argos the package arrived at 8.50pm but received a text message @11.25 pm to say will be delivered in 28 minutes. Technician looked at my phone ( I'd paused software download so as I could show delay issues). He assumed I'd brought it in for the pause on download and passed back saying it's fine but wasn't.

Spot on service, made my best friends day !
