Very disappointing experience with Pearson VUE.

My exam was rescheduled by them, and the notification I received clearly stated that I would be able to reschedule free of charge. However, when I tried to do this through their web app, I was still required to enter my card details and pay a €40 rescheduling fee.

I also attempted to contact support twice, but the call quality was extremely poor, with significant background noise, making it nearly impossible to understand the representatives. On top of that, the support line is a paid number, meaning I would have to spend more money just to resolve an issue that was not my fault.

It’s frustrating that in 2026, something as simple as honoring a “free reschedule” cannot be implemented properly in their system.

For a service that costs around $1000, I expected a much more reliable and customer-friendly experience.

Overall, very disappointed with both the system and the support.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with Pearson VUE’s support regarding my PTE Academic exam scheduling. Due to medical issues, which were duly proven by a medical certificate submitted on March 24th, 2026, the institution accepted my request and provided a voucher code for rescheduling. However, the code provided is returning an error and appears as invalid in the online booking system.
I have been in daily contact with support via phone, email, and forms since last Friday, yet I only receive generic two-business-day deadlines that expire without any resolution. I must emphasize that my situation is extremely urgent, as I have strict deadlines for visa documentation and international course enrollment. I need an immediate solution, as I must schedule the exam this week to avoid missing my international deadlines.

This technical failure with the voucher, combined with the support delay, is jeopardizing my entire international plan and the financial investments I have made. Therefore, I demand that Pearson provides a new valid voucher immediately or issues a full refund of the amount paid. My priority is a functional solution to ensure I do not miss my immigration and academic deadlines.

I experienced technical problems during the exam and the technical support team was useless. First they told me to reach out to my teacher. What does the person who taught the course I took have to do with the Certiport app not working? The person I spoke to told me the problem was "my computer." OK, what aspect about my computer? They didn't ask a single question about my computer or attempt to diagnose the problem. I sat with chatgpt for 30 minutes and fixed the issue myself. I have never had such a terrible experience with a tech support team.

They have no customer service reps that can assist you during or even after you are attempting to check in for online exams and having technical issues.
Ridiculous.

I wish I could give them negative starts. Pearson Vue's website is plagued by frequent maintenance downtime, making it impossible to schedule exams or access services when needed. Their customer service is unresponsive and unhelpful. The software and technology used are outdated and low-quality, with no support for Chrome OS users. To make matters worse, their management prioritizes new payments over existing customers, resulting in lost money and frustration. Until they address these issues, I'd advise against using their services.
