It was a high-risk, non-transparent scheme. When the losses began, they told me my funds were "staked" and couldn't be moved for a year. That was a year ago, and now the firm is gone. My life savings are a memory. I’m currently staring at a mortgage I can't pay and a fridge that is nearly empty. The trauma of being ignored by the legal system is a weight I carry every day. They say it's civil, but it's the criminal destruction of a human life. I am an ordinary citizen who has been left to die in the cold because I trusted the wrong "reputable" firm. I was in a state of absolute despair, lashing out at everyone.
