Channel Heat Systems specialises in retrofit water underfloor heating installations across the UK, with a particular focus on milled underfloor heating systems for existing homes and properties. Our specialist milling process allows underfloor heating pipework to be installed directly into suitable existing screed and concrete floors, avoiding the significant increase in floor height associated with many traditional overlay systems. Channels are precision-milled into the existing subfloor before the UFH pipework is installed, pressure tested and, where selected, sealed with a suitable adhesive ready for the next stage of floor preparation. We typically install our pipework at approximately 120mm centres, providing close and consistent coverage across the heated area. Our systems can be designed for use with both gas boilers and heat pumps, making them suitable for existing heating systems while also allowing for future heat-source upgrades. From smaller renovations and extensions to complete ground floors and large residential or commercial projects, our team works throughout the UK and has experience milling a wide range of screed and concrete-type substrates. We pride ourselves on straightforward communication, transparent quotations and professional installations from initial planning through to pressure testing and completion. If you're considering retrofit underfloor heating, milled underfloor heating or water underfloor heating for an existing property, get in touch with Channel Heat Systems to discuss your project and receive a quotation.

Really impressed with Channel Heat Systems, throughout every stage of the process, from dealing with Anna all the way to the guys actually doing the job itself. They are all easy to deal with, they all know their stuff and combined they provide an exceptional service and great value for money.
For anyone wanting this particular 'retrofit' type of UFH, I'd recommend without any hesitation.
Good communication, excellent work answered questions and gave me reassurance about their work
They completed the project in a single day which is an achievement compared to the alternative.
