Charango still not deivered

I have ordered a Charango on the 3rd of August. Order 1105474.
I made a trustpilot review a while back....that it takes way too long and that nobody answers my mails and telephone. After the trustpilot review an instant reply. It would be ok soon.
Still no Charango....

I want some response and even better the Charango.

When ....oh when can I expect my instrument that costed 1200 euros.

Charango Order

I want to be honest—I was very concerned at first and even thought this might be a scam. After reading online reviews from others, struggling to reach anyone by phone, and noticing incorrect contact info on the website, I had serious doubts.

However, I eventually found an email they had sent me, and the person who assisted me was responsive and helpful, though it took a couple of days. The process took longer than I expected, but considering it's a handmade instrument, I understand. From the time of ordering to delivery, it took about six weeks, and I have to say, the quality of the Durango is fantastic.

I highly recommend them, but I do hope they improve their customer service or at least update the website to make communication easier.

Tout commençait bien...

Le 06 octobre dernier j'ai commandé un ronroco sur Charangomall. Tout s'est bien passé jusqu'à l'arrivée aux douanes françaises le 19/11.

Il n'y avait pas de facture fournie avec l'instrument et les douanes m'ont donc envoyé un courrier me demandant d'en fournir une avant le 06/12 sans quoi le colis serait réexpédié.

Le 27/11 je contacte donc Charangomall en leur demandant de m'en envoyer une car je n'en avais pas reçu lors du paiement de la commande.

Le 02/12 je reçois un mail avec une facture en dollars ne correspondant pas au montant payé. Je renvoie donc un mail pour obtenir la vraie facture. Mais celui-ci restera sans réponse.

J'ai donc envoyé à la douane une capture d'écran du site sur laquelle figurait le montant réellement payé.

Suite à cela, le colis est parti en livraison et on m'a demandé de payer 204€ de frais pour récupérer le colis. J'ai refusé en pensant que je pourrai me faire rembourser.

Malheureusement, Charangomall refusent de me rembourser sous prétexte qu'ils ne prennent pas en charge les frais de retour. Je leur ai envoyé un mail leur disant que j'étais prêt à payer ces frais pour me faire rembourser. Ce mail est lui aussi resté sans réponse.

Et je dois donc maintenant chercher une aide juridique pour faire avancer les choses.

Contactez directement les luthiers, ne passez pas par Charangomall !

De Charango Premium nada de nada. Mala experiencia, baja calidad.

I bought a charango rated by them Premium, made of Jacaranda wood.
1) It doesn't have a zero fret, on the contrary, as shown in the photo
2) It has significant pitting
3) It has black spots under the varnish
4) The headstock's borders are very off-center
5) The bridge is painted to simulate ebony and is very soft and is very marked by the strings
6) It gives off a very, very unpleasant smell. I have bought many string instruments and I have never encountered such a disgusting smell, it is not the typical smell of wood or varnish
7) The tuning machine is less than basic, it doesn't work smoothly and you can see all the burrs from the plastic pins

8) The Jacaranda wood that looked very nice in the photos is totally nondescript, and with a very dark brown varnish you can hardly see the grain.

I have photos of everything I'm talking about, except the smell obviously

It said the price was $723 and it was discounted by 20%. With the case plus customs the outlay was large and the instrument disappointed me for the price.

Compré un charango calificado por ellos Premium , de madera de Jacaranda.
1- No tiene traste cero al contrario como mostraba la foto
2) tiene picadas importantes
3) tiene motas negras por debajo del barnizado
4) las cenefas de la cabeza están muy descentradas
5) el puente es pintado simulando ébano y es muy blando y está muy marcado por las cuerdas
6) desprende un olor muy muy desagradable. He comprado muchos instrumentos de cuerda y nunca me he encontrado con un olor así de asqueroso, no es el típico olor a madera o barniz
7) el clavijero es menos que básico, no funciona suave y se ven todas rebabas de las clavijas de plástico

8) la madera de Jacaranda que se veía muy bonita en las fotos es totalmente anodina, y con un barniz marrón muy oscuro casi no se aprecia la beta.

Tengo fotos de todo lo que hablo, menos del olor obviamente

Ponía que el precio era 723$ y estaba rebajado con el 20%. Con la funda más la aduana el desembolso fue grande y el instrumento me decepcionó para el precio.

Si alguien de charangomall se pone en contacto conmigo le puedo enviar las fotos. Por este canal no veo cómo adjuntarlas.

I paly for 1 year and there good charango. two of friend got 1 about 600$ and 500$ it was well made good sound and have good string. but for you might need to wait a moth to get it, like me, but was in usa and during christmas. but is hard to pick one becuse is on the website. and pick carefully. becuse of the moth that why I put 4 star. Chronically ignore emails

I really wanted to like this website as it seems like the ideal place to buy a charango and there isn't much else out there. The other reviews on here and on scam alert are scary and all say the same thing. I saw one Charango I loved and contacted them through their website to ask about it. The website says they will contact you within 48 hours. No response. I wrote them again over a week later and I got a confirmation that I sent them an email, and it was also ignored. This is totally incomprehensible. Considering everything I've read about the website, what others on forums have told me, Charagomall's canned responses here on trustpilot, and then totally ignoring numerous emails, I don't feel safe ordering from this website.

le 14 octobre dernier, j'ai mis un avis très réservé sure charangomall en raison du recours aux services postaux (postes US et poste française) pour acheminer les colis. J'ai acheté un nouveau charango en janvier dernier et il a fallu deux mois pour que je le reçoive du fait de La poste française. les droits de douane étaient réglés mais la poste est particulièrement lente, peu réactive et surtout ne donne aucune information. S’agissant des charango deux même, privilégier les instruments concert ou professionnels de meilleure sonorité.

Scam site?

I ordered a ronroco almost two months ago. There was no indication it was not in stock when I placed my order. After several weeks, I had to email three times, and only after threat of a chargeback did they finally reply. I was told I would receive it in10-15 days. That was over a month ago. I’ve tried emailing again to find out why I haven’t received my order to no avail. I guess I’ll have to contact my CC company and start the chargeback process.

Update 3/5/23 - I never received your response and I paid for FedEx expedited shipping. For anyone ordering from the site, it would seem the only way to get service is to threaten a chargeback. I don’t understand how they can be this bad.

No charango, no communications.

My wife ordered a charango back 22 April 2022 from your website. If I'm not mistaken she also paid for express shipping which was an additional $99 and according to your website, it will take 5-7 working days shipping to Australia. It's almost a month today and not only we don't have the item at hand but also we don't have any communications at least. Have tried calling the US contact us number but it's only ringing and no one picks up. Had emailed a few days ago but have yet to receive a reply. I don't think any customer would be happy about this kind of service.

Por el momento pongo una estrella a esta empresa ya que hasta ahora no recibo respuesta de ellos sobre la compra que hice. El número de mi pedido es 1105018 pague el envío rápido por Fedex veremos cuanto tiempo demora o si me responden al menos. Si todo mejora cambiaré mi calificación.

El problema sigue ya que el día 29 supuestamente el paquete debió haber llegado pero USPS ni Pitney Bowes sabe donde esta el paquete. Me dijeron que llame a Charango Mall para que puedan abrir un caso con la empresa de envío. Estoy a la espera de la solución.

El producto llego por USPS al final asi que por gusto pagan la opcion de envío por Fedex. Por otro lado el instrumento no esta mal pero vino con varias fallas estéticas sobre todo en la pintura o barniz que se hizo como unas burbujas grandes. En el sonido del microfono no es el mejor a ratos hace tierra pero tampoco esta tan mal. La funda esta bien me gusta. Creo que por el precio pagado en dolares no lo valio mucho. En Perú o en Bolivia encontre mucho mas baratos. En cuestión de atencion al cliente aun tienen que mejorar pero al final responden de algun modo. No me siento muy satisfecho por ahora por todos esos inconvenientes del envio y el detalle de la pintura levantada en varias partes asi que le doy un 2.5 estrellas. Seguiré probando el instrumento cualquier Actualización la hare saber. De todos modos gracias por el servicio al final si se cumplio con errores pero se cumplió asi que todo es real no es un SCAM.

The product arrived by USPS in the end so they gladly paid for the Fedex shipping option. On the other hand, the instrument is not bad, it came with several aesthetic flaws, especially in the paint or varnish that was made as big bubbles. In the sound of the microphone it is not the best at times it makes land but it is not so bad either. The cover is fine, I like it. I think that for the price paid in dollars it was not worth much. In Peru or Bolivia I found much cheaper. In terms of customer service they still have to improve but in the end they respond in some way. I don't feel very satisfied for now because of all those inconveniences of the shipment and the detail of the painting lifted in several parts so I give it a 2.5 stars. I will keep testing the instrument any update I will let you know. Anyway thanks for the service at the end if it was fulfilled with errors but it was fulfilled so everything is real it is not a SCAM.
