The women here cared for me with so much kindness, patience, and compassion. After surgery, I couldn’t even use the bathroom by myself. They helped me shower, changed my pads, cleaned my faja, made sure I was comfortable, and checked on me constantly. I had care during the day, at night, and overnight, and I never once felt alone or like I was a burden.
Recovery can be scary and emotional, especially when you’re far from home. They made me feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for every step of the way. They even arranged for lymphatic massage therapists to come to the house, so I didn’t have to leave while managing my drainage bags.
