the local branch near my office is genuinely excellent. The staff knows me by name, wait times are short, and any issue I have brought in has been resolved the same day without drama. Visited a different branch across town when I was in a hurry and it was a completely different world. Long wait, distracted teller, and a simple transaction that took twenty five minutes for no reason I could identify. For a bank this size the inconsistency between locations is hard to overlook and I would not have given three stars without my home branch pulling the average up.

On the 29th of January a suspicious person tried to gain access to my account at Chase by phone. The same thing occurred twice on February 7th. At that point 12 days had gone by, and I did not receive a notification of this action from Chase. On the 7th of February, I received a text and notification from Chase with a pin code for access to my account. Since I did not perform this action, I called Chase. I had my online account shut down and removed my email address. As is the norm, I was unable to reach the branch by phone, so I started emailing people. I finally receive a call from my Private Client Advisor, I explain the situation and I ask him to put me in touch with the branch manager "Issac". I spoke with Issac, I don't believe he looked at my account because he gave me some bad information explaining that my computer was compromised. He advised me to get my computer scanned by a professional. I explained that my account stated the attempt was made by phone but he ignored that information. He then stated he was going to file a complaint and I should have results within a week. I took my computer to a specialist, had it scanned for malware and it was clean, no malware. That cost me half a day and about 100 dollars. I got a call from the alleged escalation division of the executive branch, and they gave contradictory information from everyone else I spoke to at the branch and on the phone. They were unable to provide me with information that would assure me they were from Chase. I emailed my private client banker and he let me know that Issac had it for action and would let me know if that call came from the executive branch. I have not received any information. I then drive to the branch to reactivate my online account and update my email address. While there, I ask about Issac, he is on vacation. After a week, I contacted my private client banker again by email and he reminded Issac to follow up with me. I still have not heard from him. Today is Feb 20th, 2025. Over 6 weeks my daughter has waited on HR that no one can contact, to get her reference to start a new job, she's hsd no wages since january and cannot get started, SHAME ON YOU

Terrible bank, do NOT bother, its not a bank, its a call centre in the Philippines! the staff cant do anything over the phone, the app crashed, I had to pass security, tried to withdraw my money and it got stopped and guess what, Ive got to pass security again! Even though Ive passed security over the phone! Only to be passed to fraud, to guess what, tell me to pass security again! Imbeciles of the highest order......now Ive got 35000 floating around in the system thats come off my balance and not hit my british bank account!

After seeing Uk TV ad for Chase Bank I opened an account at the beginning of Oct 2022 (no joint account available) for myself and wife.
Within a couple of days their system went down, it happens, so not great start. Within days of using my debit card I received a call from Chase to say someone was trying to take a payment in Scotland, I live in the Midlands, obviously fraudulent. Couple of days later message popped up on app for me to authorise another fraudulent payment. While I was on the phone to Chase yet another fraudulent payment was requested on app. Obviously my account had been hacked even though I had not given my card or bank details to anyone! Ok Chase did contact me via app. and phone but I've now closed account.

Stay away. Changed my phone so had to redo ID check. Fair enough I did the same on my othe bank apps. But Chase would not accept the same ID I used to open the account. I am now going to issue a High Court writ to recover my money. App is utterly useless.

I believed the adverts too, but this is the worst bank I have had dealings with. Be careful you can only access your account from 1 ONE device so no paying with Apple Pay and then looking at your account on a larger screen. Closed the account and stayed with Starling

I have to say over the past 2-3 years losing a business and starting another one and as we all know life has been challenging. With 2 existing well known banks one of which proved very disloyal and disappointing to me caused me to research others. Chase from the first communication a few months ago now and upto to present have been exemplary in their actions. First class customer care they value their customers so am very pleased I made the right choice! I am however taken aback noting negative reviews here? I would 100% Chase.

When I transfer funds from my savings, the money is immediately taken from my accand then just disappears for two or three days into thin air, I have had to call them and email them time after time to find out where my money is ..until eventually when then decide to put the money where I wanted it. The customer service is none existent, nothing short of a disgrace….trying to get my own money is harder than earning it was !
All their advertising is instant access savings at any time…this is simply not true

Back in July I was triying to get a loan through a website. I was told they needed my bank info to verify I had an account at Chase. The person I talked to was a Jason Miller and he, while was on the phone, hacked into my account and overdrawed it $1600.00. I filed a police report calle Chase Claims and reported it. They did NOTHING but accuse me of doing it. I no longer bank with them. I had an account ther for almost 10 years.

Get your money out of this crappy bank.
Appalling service.
People who promise all sorts then you never hear from them again (how are you 'Harry'?).
All they want to do is make money by holding your cash when you desperately need it.
Learn from our lesson. Don't use this shower.

Does not allow you to close your account in the app, sends you round in circles while the "so called, real person", is giving me the same information that doesn't work, buy something nice with my money, have now deleted the app, at least it allows me to do that!...

Chase Bank is a great bank for online services for personal and business.

Spent 5 hours this evening going round in circles trying to log in with my I D. Then having to wait while my details were verified. I waited. Had a message to log on. Then had to ho through the whole process again. I gave up. I can't give an app my cash when I can't log on. I'm worried I won't have access to it. I have deleted the app.

Joined Chase in May. Easy to set up and use. After 28 days I still havent received my card. I contacted them and they come back with a bog standard reply telling me how to order a new card. I havent even received a card and they ask me to order a new one. Totally amateur company. I will be closing my account.

I opened an account with Chase bank 3 weeks ago , sent 2 emails still no reply .
Still haven't received my card .
I'm now going to close my account.

A very easy banking app to set up and use. Plus you can refer to others and both be rewarded. Had a slight problem with a two transactions being blocked but the second was because the first staff member failed to lift the restriction after the first issue. Easy to communicate though and now resolved. For that and that only I gave them 4/5 stars. Would recommend

Just given a very good review of Chase with a couple of minor quibbles. Don’t get why some people are having trouble signing up and getting thru on the phone. No problems signing up and phoned them a couple of times with no wait and very helpful. I transfer money to the card from my current account and it goes thru straight away. Haven’t yet tried to take any money out - hopefully it will work well that way 🤞 As I’m definitely enjoying getting cash rewards.
