I was very pleased with the obvious high quality of the beautiful chess set I bought from Chess Philosophy for my son’s birthday. It is everything I'd hoped for and know it will be much treasured for years to come. I found the service to be exceptional, with not only good communication and prompt delivery, but went over and beyond in assisting with a special request for extra queens to match my own large chess set. The founder’s passion for chess and serving the chess community with integrity was refreshingly obvious. I cannot recommend Chess Philosophy highly enough.

Elegant chessboard and pleasant shades of the dark and light colours, with a set of magnetic chess pieces that won’t move if the board is shaken (I found that feature pretty handy, as we don’t need to argue about the position of the chess pieces if I knock the board off by mistake!).
Above all, great customer service that with a hint of philosophy! Definitely recommend.

It’s a good board but it came with some damage that is quite disappointing.

We purchased the mini foldable set for our 8 yr old who loves it! Such a gorgeous keepsake that I know will be in our family for yrs to come.

Chessboard and pieces were to expectations, easy and compact, and the pieces were magnetic as well, which was a real bonus. Delivery was quick, and tracking enquiries were answered promptly. If you love chess and are looking for a good board to make your own Chess Philosophy will be a good place to start.
