I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding a recent incident that occurred at Chicken Shop on Wardour Street. Yesterday, while I was enjoying a meal, my bag with personal belongings, including two laptops, were stolen from the chicken shop.

Despite the clear theft and the CCTV footage to assist in the investigation, staff refused to cooperate. Their unwillingness to review the surveillance footage and their lack of concern for my situation are both deeply troubling. The staff even refused to cooperate even though the police were made aware and a crime report filed.

I have learned that this is not an isolated incident. Multiple individuals have reported similar thefts at the chicken shop, suggesting a pattern of criminal activity and potential involvement from staff. The individual who stole my belongings was clearly suspicious, as they were not eating or ordering any food. Yet, staff seemed unbothered by their presence were aware of the suspicious individual.

This experience has been extremely distressing and has left me feeling violated. I urge you to take immediate action to address this ongoing issue. I would like to request a full investigation into the theft and the involvement of your staff. Additionally, I expect a sincere apology for the way I was treated.

I hope that by bringing this matter to your attention, you will take the necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of your customers.

Kind of mixed, the chips was very good and priced fairly. The chicken wraps were also good but a lot smaller than what I expected. And now, to the chicken wings themselves, which unfortunately lacked flavour. The fried coating lacked flavour as well, and I expected a lot more from the chicken in terms of taste,

Sandwich was excellent. They serve beer, the lager was a great accompaniment.

First order cancelled as no spare ribs . I then re ordered . Delivery came on time and exceeded our expectations . Everything piping hot . We were given more than we ordered and chicken was delicious . Better than Kentucky . Will definitely order again .

I had a great visit to Chicken Shop Camden, the service by Nadina was great and the food I ordered, a wrap with chips, was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be visiting again

Chicken Shop Soho

Staff where friendly and helpful but the food was really awful. I bought a standard chicken burger and fries at lunch time. The fries were stale and the actual chicken was solid, hard, dry and tasteless. It all tasted horrible, no flavour and also made me feel sick. It was a big waste of money and I wish I could get a refund.

I’ve been there more than once and the food is amazing highly recommend

Chicken shop at Islington, shop in general not well clean on Sunday 17-09-2023. Food poor presentation when served.

The food is amazing and service is great Niaz is a brilliant member of staff promote him!

Very convenient service and good portion sizes. First time eating here and I'll be back. Served by Anna who is always happy to help and is a star at making sure everything is clean and tidy.

Had a really bad experience with Chicken Shop in tooting. Had my first ever order from Chicken Shop to my work place. Just a tiny peace of chicken with some sweet potato fries + apple pie slice coasted me over 20£, it’s ok I wanted to try it out. Order came on time, food was fine but my apple pie ( coasted £6,50 per slice) was a complete horror in a box.. nothing like advertised and portion was extremely small.
I did contact the customer service sending them picture of order I’ve received and picture of what they advertise on their site. Person name Greham was polite and promissing, but after 3 days of refund and other promisses still no refund happened. ( I did agree to pay for my food but requested a refund for a completely anacceptable pie)
Just want to warn people not to order from them, very over rated, expensive and at the end of the day if something goes wrong you will never see your refund!

Delivery prices more expensive??

Good food but I can't understand why they charge 10%+ more for menu items through deliveroo? There's no VAT (20% saving) on takeaway, no tables to clean and no washing up. Deliveroo change separately for delivery (and prompt you to tip as well!!) so why is it more expensive?
