Ordered using this app from fringos in Wilmington MA. Both occasions we were missing items from the order. The second time we selected a 6:15pm delivery slot even though we placed order at 5:30pm. They showed up at 6:50pm. The driver said he couldn’t find our place and was driving around for a while. Do these people know there are tons of free GPS apps they can use for driving directions? Do these people know to read the order which clearly states our home address? I guess not. Unfortunately that day we were busy and had to leave as soon as we received the food. We will not order through this service again.
NO SHOW, 20 MINUTES WASTED TIME ON PHONE
Ordered food through app. Called 30 minutes after food was supposed to be here. Restaurant said 3 drivers had come in for it. He’d given it to the first driver, so sent the other 2 away. Called ChowNow. First, they denied it, then, after a 10 minute hold, yes, they’d sent 2 drivers. They have NO PHONE # for thr driver with the food! I hope she enjoyed my dinner. NEVER AGAIN!!!

They couldn't find a driver. Customer support told me they would refund my delivery fee and tip and that I could pick up the order. Uhhhhhh NO. Awful customer support, awful delivery service. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY!

Price gouging!!!! For a pick up order this app charges $5 more than the restaurant price for that food. Not sure who decides the price of food online, is it the restaurant or the apps??? Never recommend using this app! Period!!

I would rate 0 stars if I could. This is my second time ordering through them. On both occasions I never received my order. The first time I cut them some slack, it happens you know? Not a big deal. But the second time with the same results is ridiculous. I called customer service but they were very unhelpful. Don't bother with this company, use something mainstream so you don't get scammed.

No dinner tonight after paying an exorbitant amount for delivery. The delivery people don't know how to find my last name on the alphabetical name roster of residents so that I can buzz them in....Last time they still couldn't find it and I had to meet them at front door. Food was cold and almost inedible. Never never never do this again!!!!!!!

I would give 0 stars. My third time ordering through ChowNow. Food always arrives late, this time, I first received a confirmation email, went on with my work and 45 minutes later I received a cancellation email. Then had to struggle to re-order food for the office. Will not use this service again.

Biggest waste of time. The website version is a complete FAILURE. Tried to order food with apple pay which already has all my info. Tried multiple times and it kept saying “enter your name in apple pay”. My info IS ALL THERE! Never had such a failure with apple pay. There was nothing to fill in either. Ended up spending 30mins that when I finally finished my order the restaurant cancelled my order because it was so close to close time. NEVER EVER messing with this crappy service. So much headache for something that’s supposed to make things easier. Chownow is the absolute worst. Wish I could fire all of you
Deliver food late and cold
Third and last time I use them. Late, cold food and was on the phone with Chownow representative for over 40 minutes and then she hung up. Never again. They try to blame it on the restaurant you ordered from. Terrible company!

If I could give it less than a 1 I would. They are either over an hour late or they don’t deliver it at all. I think the drivers sign up to get a free meal and quit. Like, who doesn’t take a picture of the delivery. That’s how you know it’s a scam. Beware… Unfortunately, I will not order delivery from this particular restaurant again because the only use chow now.
TERRIBLE!!!
I ordered a 50 piece wings with ranch dressing and 2 large pizzas. After waiting about 45 minutes to get my order I got a call from the restaurant and said that the driver picked up the pizzas but forgot the wings at the restaurant and someone from the restaurant would be delivering the wings. I got the wings and still had not received the pizzas. I received a call from Chow now, stating that the order had been canceled, which I hadn’t canceled it because I was still waiting for the pizzas. The driver actually had the ranch dressing for the wings as well as the celery with them. 2 hours later I just told them to refund my money for the pizzas because they said that they don’t know what happened to the order. Will definitely not be using this company anymore!

Customer service is non existent
Customer service is non existent. We had an issue with out driver for our order last night. When I reached out to custom support I was stuck with a non responsive chat bot and was told that it was not their problem. The option to remove the gratuity for the driver was never even offered. At least when you use Uber there is some basic level of customer support.

Very Disappointed
Another business owner referred me to ChowNow. I did some preliminary due diligence but not enough. The mistake I made was not doing my thorough due diligence. ChowNow said they were integrated with Cuboh who was my aggregator. After months of not getting customers and my menu not populating across platforms correctly, I found out they still weren't integrated with Cuboh completely. I had already paid them for 6 months when I contacted UberEATS to see why I wasn't getting new customers. UberEATS said my store hadn't been open for over a month! I had been going to the kitchen. preparing food, and marketing the whole time! At that point I decided to cancel ChowNow and Cuboh and notified them in writing. Cuboh agreed to cancel my last month's bill because I told them in advance and they understood my reason for leaving. ChowNow kept trying to bill for another month for a service that never fully worked AFTER I told them I was cancelling. They didn't want to release my customer contact list either. Fortunately, I called in ahead of time to get it sent to me.
They also sent an email to my customers advertising ChowNow, not my company. I paid them to market my company but they were trying to get my customers to download their app and buy food from any of the providers on there.
This company is unethical and doesn't do good business.

I'd give 0 stars if I could. Placed an order totaling $23.60. They over charged my card for a total of $26.95. I was not notified that they would be doing this and placing a hold on my card until AFTER my order was placed and I received an email confirmation with this information. The charge on my card is from a restaurant in FL and I ordered from a local place in OH. I was told that I should receive the additional money they took from my account back in 7 days. Their customer service is HORRIBLE! All they say is "rest assured you will receive your money in 7 days" No mention of the charge from the wrong state or the fact that you aren't even told that they will charge your account more than your original order prior to placing your order.
