Extremely disappointing experience with…

Extremely disappointing experience with Cimalpes Courchevel.
We were promised daily maid service and breakfast — neither was properly delivered. They deducted €2,900 for 5 days of maid service we never approved, and the quality was extremely poor. They also sold us ski passes with insurance, but after I fractured my shoulder, we discovered there was no insurance at all. To make matters worse, they sent all documents in French despite repeated requests for English, making their conduct unclear and far from transparent. Completely dishonest and unprofessional. Avoid this agency.

The daily cleaning service was set up in accordance with your tour operator's request and validated by you. It was carried out as planned throughout your stay.

The ski passes included Carré Neige insurance, as is always the case with our services. Following your accident, all the documents needed to declare the accident to the insurance company were sent to you and your tour operator. These documents are issued directly by the insurer, in French, and unfortunately we are unable to modify the format.

Cimalpes caduta di stile

Mi sono sempre trovato bene con l agenzia cimalpes ma questo anno non è stato così. L appartamento mi è stato consegnato dopo un’ora da quanto concordato. All inizio ci è stata fornita una sola chiave per quattro persone che sciano in maniera indipendente . L appartamento non era del tutto pulito e l abbiamo mostrato all’ agenzia. Inoltre mancava il codice qr nell’ appartamento. Ben cinque giorni dopo la mia partenza mi vengono contestate alcune macchie su una tenda. Di certo non le ho sporcate io. In conclusione cimalpes 1850 si è dimostrata questo anno meno attenta al cliente. Fotografate bene tutto per evitare sorprese.

Courcheval 1650 excellent apart from difficulty with parking

First time booking with Cimalpes, overall the booking process and getting into our apartment late was all taken care of by the helpful staff. One fault with the apartment was taken care of promptly.
All was good except for a poor experience with my "free" parking at the apartment. It was not made clear how to receive this free parking and on arrival (late) having not been given the entry card I took a ticket. On contacting the office the next day they advised I needed a parking card, no explanation was given either in writing or verbally so I assumed you just used on exit. On leaving day at 4am I was unable to get the barrier to rise with the parking card, and due to the time in the morning and needing to get to the airport, I had no choice but to use the original ticket and pay the 100 euros to exit the car park. I took a receipt assuming that Cimalpes would be able to sort the problem - given that the parking was "free" and there had been a miscommunication on how to use and that they would be able to resolve with the local parking operator. However despite multiple emails, they simply refuse to help, stating that it was my fault and that they will not resolve the problem. What a shame, everything up to then had been great, but as always the true reflection of a company is when things go wrong and how they deal with the customer and that is the final experience that we remember all for 100 Euros!!!

Everybody at Cimalpes Courchevel Moriond is sorry to hear that you were disappointed. Indeed we forgot to give you your parking ticket and we apologize for it.
We would like to point out that we tried to correct our mistake on the very next day by giving you this parking ticket and all the instructions to follow. These instructions were not followed, that's why you had to pay the full price.
We also contacted the city hall to have a goodwill gesture but they refused.
We hope that you had a great stay and that your were satisfied with the apartment.

it has been over 2 weeks since we left…

it has been over 2 weeks since we left the rental apartment in Megeve and we cannot even recieve a reply from cimalpes
they have a 2000 euros deposit and will not return it

Avoid this company at all costs. They will scam you

We have experienced exactly the same issue as on previous reviews but in Megève. We are being charged for damage we didn’t cause and seem to have no way of solving the issue. They have a ridiculous policy of you being required to check every inch of the apartment on arrival( including stripping ready made up beds!) and any defect not reported will be charged. Of course they already have €2000 from you! It’s a scam. Do not use this company.Does anyone have advice on how to deal with this? They won’t answer our phone calls or reply to messages

Charged for damage we did not make

we rented an apartment in Les 2 Alpes. It was brand-new and was not really ready for rental. The marketing pics were for the show apartment which we didn't know until a couple of days before arrival. There were lots of snagging issues with the building e.g. front door issues, no wifi, no working lift from the car park, dust everywhere. We just went with it and enjoyed our holiday. 2 weeks after getting home I was told we were to be charged 200 euros for a toilet roll holder that was off the wall and a missing door handle neither of which we were responsible for. Who steals a door handle!? There was no conversation to be had about it, the owner said we did it and we were going to be charged and that was it. It's not even the amount, it is the pettiness and the lack of trust from Cimalpes after renting with them for over 10 years. They now use Swikly for damage deposits. Avoid like the plague
Update after Cimalpes reply November 24:
I’m surprised to see a reply 8 months after my feedback. I’d completely forgotten about it but was saddened not to see an apology for the lack of Wi-Fi or claiming money that wasn’t yours, for items we did not break or steal. It was very 1-sided so, no you won’t be seeing us again as I have lost trust in Cimalpes.

Your apartment was of better quality than the sample apartment, as it was decorated, fitted out and finished by a professional.

The missing and damaged items were not reported to us when we carried out the inventory on arrival. We are sure that you would have informed us if you'd have witnessed it at your arrival.
We certainly did not communicate clearly about this during and after your stay. We apologise for this.

Cimalpes Meribel will steal your…

Cimalpes Meribel will steal your security deposit. They are crooks and their service is terrible . We had a blocked toilet reported in the morning and by late afternoon nothing was done. They then charged 2000 euros to fix it!!!!! STAY AWAY from these crooks.

This disagreement involves the replacement of an essential piece of equipment in the accommodation. This apartment contains a macerator toilet. We therefore display a clearly visible sign stating that anything other than toilet paper will damage the system. Then it is mandatory to call us if a problem occurs, and not try to fix it with chemical products.
We had to replace the toilet as a result of our failure to comply with these instructions.
We are as saddened by this as you are.
Therefore we would love to welcome you back to one of our destinations.

Location de vacances "topissime". Excellent.

Excellente expérience de location de vacances avec CIMALPES saint martin-de-Belleville. Un logement excellent et arrangé avec goût (merci aux propriétaires), des personnels trés attentifs et consciencieux (Merci Charlène).
Excellente prise en charge, de qualité avec ce qu'il faut d'attention et de discrétion. A recommander les yeux fermés.
