absolute joke phoned to find why my skip not arrived they said we don't do 2 yarders we will refund you, so i phoned another company up and they went through this same company and did the same so now ive got no skip and waiting for nearly £4oo to go back into my bank what a farce of a company

Worst customer service i have ever experienced in my life.
I have all call recordings and evidence to prove my argument.
They sent KMR skip company out to me and they damaged my drive. It was a hot day and the driver used a slipper to put a full skip on which dented the tarmac on my drive.
Two months later, after i have made one call a week to see what the situation is, after they kept promising they would call me back, after all the investigations they made and all the correspondance behind the scenes between them and KMR, they have decided not to repair my drive.

Now, i have to go through small claims court.

Worst customer service ever. 10 weeks gone by and they have never ever dialled my number. Tom the so called manager, stopped talking to me after 4 weeks.

My guess is, most of the reviews on here are by staff and companies who are being looked after wasteonline.uk.

Never ever will i use them or work with any professionals who use them.

I have a lot of evidence for my complaint. Hence going through small claims court.

This company trades under different names.
We originally booked a large skip through Johnson Skips and paid an extortionate price of over £450 by card for the privilege. We were told the skip would be delivered on the Tuesday after the Bank Holiday Monday, so cleared an area for it to go.
During the weekend the invoice came through and I took a look at it and saw that it was from a totally different company, Circle Waste! This was not the company I'd been dealing with and I decided to check them out. Imagine my horror when I read the reviews on Google and Trust Pilot!
First thing Tuesday my son and I tried calling Johnson Skip Hire to find out exactly what was going on and to cancel the skip, as I didn't want the problems that other people in the many reviews have been having, especially being charged vast amounts of money on top when skips are finally collected, only to be put on hold for over an hour at a time, until I hung up and had to keep calling back again.
When I finally managed to actually speak to someone and ask why the skip we had ordered had not arrived and why the invoice was in a different company name, the person was rude and indifferent, saying that the skip would arrive when it arrived and they traded in many different names! I told them I wanted it cancelled and a full refund and was told I'd have to wait for any money to be returned and I'd be charged for cancelling the skip.
My son was already on the phone with the bank explaining the situation to our bank, so I told the guy on the phone that we had already requested a refund through our bank and our bank was already dealing with it.
This company is ripping people off and they know they are.
Do not give them your money.

Paid for an 8-yard skip and what turned up was clearly smaller (I measured and photographed it). When I challenged this, I was passed from pillar to post with broken promises and multiple delays. In my view this amounts to mis-selling, so I’ve reported it to Trading Standards and raised a credit-card claim.

What you don’t realise until things go wrong: Circle Waste are a broker, not the actual haulier. Their own terms say they use “nominated service providers/agents/sub-contractors.” In my experience that means they chase the cheapest subcontractor, then shirk responsibility when the service isn’t what you paid for.

Before you book, check the pattern on Trustpilot: a Bad rating (around 1.7/5) from 700+ reviews, ranked at the bottom of its categories, and a stream of recent 1-star reports about non-delivery, smaller-than-ordered skips, hidden charges, and refunds that don’t arrive. That absolutely mirrors my experience.

If you must use them: pay by credit card, photograph/measure the skip on delivery, and keep every email. Personally, I’d avoid like the plague.

Second one was way smaller i phoned to complain they said they held sam capacity???
When i phoned to ask them collect the skip they said wednesday( never happend) no phone call nothing held my job back
Thursday came he jyst gotbout of his vzn said he wasnt taking it too full...
Now if he said tgat on the first skip i could understand but the second skip no way.he drove off.
I recieved a call from the company to say i owed 137 pound plus vat fro wasting the drivers time... he didnot wait any time( my nephew was taking things off the skip as he drove off)
They said they would not take the skip till i paied the money...
I had already paid over 450 pound for two skipt then tgey wanted charge me over 130 plus vat to take skip away..
The customers service is terrible..

They are a terrible terrible company - Don't use them - Customer severe is shocking!! - the skip i payed for never got delivered it had been miss off there system - they are scammers -

Absolute joke. Let us down on consecutive days for a collection, have been promised a refund for the last 2 months and now telling me they’re not going to. Sean especially absolute clown. As is their sales team.

Absolute joke of a company made me wait for over one week let me down three consecutive times never ever to be trusted again the worst company in the country avoid them or you would be disappointed with empty promises. Skip never turns up..

The company carrying out roof work at my house used this company to get a skip hired through a local skip firm.
After picking the skip up the local firm broke my manhole cover in my drive.
All the skip companies refused to pay for a new one, luckily the roofing contractor has bought a new one, but they shouldn't have had to.

Terrible, avoid!

What a terrible company to deal with. I wish I’d read Trustpilot reviews before using them!

If you want hidden charges and awful communication, use these at your peril!

I must have had more than 15 skips through this company . I have on many occasions had the pleasure of speaking to Sam to arrange this, he is a very helpful and pleasant guy to speak to and a credit to the company. Never had a problem with arranging delivery or collection.

The skip arrived quickly, extremely pleasant driver. However I'm not convinced it was the size ordered, the driver assured me that it was an 8yd. When I checked the size of 8yd skips on-line they were all 12 foot long, the one I received was barely 10ft long at its longest.

Would not recommend. Not someone to leave a review but the experience has been really poor.

Stevenson Skip hire is like a company owned by a company, owned by a company with Stevenson owned by Circle Waste, Owned by Waste Hire Services. All who know relatively little about further info in the business beyond their own areas.

Booked an 8 yard skip yesterday for £280. Was called to be told its a pricing error. Went back onto the website and could still book the skip again for this price.

Confused I rang the number back as no number left for me. This went on to a switchboard. Got transferred incorrectly twice. Then eventually spoke to someone who I thought was the right area. Got told I was being transferred to Riccardo and then got hung up on.

I then rang back to the same area Circle Waste Management and then was on hold for an hour before I eventually gave up.

Sam managed to get through to me the next day and explained this to him with very little sympathy being recieved. I was only offered a refund which at this point I took.

I didn’t read the trust pilot reviews before ordering the skip. These reviews are clearly at odds with Google reviews.
The skip was delivered a day late which delayed my project by the same time. I made 3 calls that day and was assured it would be delivered at various times throughout that day. It never arrived until 6.30 am the day after. When requested to collect the skip I was informed 3-5 days. It was collected 10 days later after repeated phone calls.
I’m not necessarily criticising the staff because they were always polite courteous and seemed to be doing their best. Perhaps the company should consider when contracting local operators they are able to deliver client expectations.

Booked a skip for delivery, didn’t turn up, didn’t call to tell me, only when chased did they say they shouldn’t have taken the booking as they didn’t have the skip. Awful, awful company. Read the reviews (unlike I did) and avoid completely!

Well where do I start I’m a builder working slightly out of town so decided I would use a management waste company what a mistake
First skip late being dropped off ordered 8 yard skip exchange they come to do that and got the skip stuck in the empty skip had to take it away and returned 2 hours later with a 6 yard skip.
This is not what I ordered so filled and still had approx 2 yard of much that I couldn’t get on it
Several emails and phone calls later trying resolve the matter short story long I get an email to say I’m not entitled to a partial refund as I ordered a 8 yard skip so totally skipped that my beef was they sent me a 6 yard skip instead of an 8 yard exchange to say I’ve had a frustrating two days trying to sort it out with the most incompetent skip company I’ve ever encountered is an understatement I can quite honestly say I would touch these with a barge poll

TERRIBLE SERVICE- DO NOT HIRE FROM THEM! CON ARTISTS

Booking accepted and skip did not turn up on agreed date. No phone call, no callback, no invoice, no compensation; utterly inept at 'waste management' save yourself the hassle and fee by booking directly with the waste company themselves.

CIRCLE WASTE OF TIME

Skip delivered full day late.
Coping stones along driveway smashed.
Hydraulics hose burst and oil spilled over garden and footpath. Shrubs destroyed.
Feeble, Worse than useless response.

Absolutely disgusted with this company I rang up and asked if a skip was available for that day they said yes I asked how much for a 6 yard skip they said £340 Inc vat so I agreed and paid I then received an email saying £408 was taken out of my account and the skip wasn't coming until the next day I rang them back and asked why is says next day delivery and Mitchell Mason who was a complete jobs worth said its not its booked in for today within the hour I then rang back again and a different person answered the phone I asked again when was my skip coming she said tomorrow I asked if I could cancel she said yes but its £60+VAT I argued against the fee and then accepted it was coming the next day. So the next day came and it still hadn't been delivered and still haven't heard of them and they won't answer my calls
