I would never usually leave a bad review, but I am sure so unhappy with my order. Ordered on 19th October spent £215 on 4 sets of tartan pjs, to be told 2 weeks before Christmas the one pair sizing wasn’t available and id have to have a size down. For them to arrive the quality is absolutely shocking! It’s cheap and the sizing are horrendous. I won’t be using them the size they didn’t have and sent me a size down don’t even fit my little boy and what a waste of £215. Absolutely shocking considering I ordered 8 weeks ago! Things out of shock! Cheapest martial. Just shocking! Never again!
Don’t waste your money
Spent £100 on the emerald tartan pyjamas and dressing gown to wear to the Polar Express and a Christmas photoshoot, I so wanted to love this but the other reviews are correct it is like ordering from Shein
The dressing gown holes are so small my son can’t get his hands through them so I am having to undo the stitching as nothing can be returned
Sent an email but the customer service didn’t understand what I meant… I’m sure this is a ploy to not have to do anything. Didn’t respond back as I can’t be arguing with stupid. Save yourself money if you want traditional pyjamas for the actual quality you’re paying for go to Trotters, Newbie or the White Company.
Awful business
First time ordering, not even received my order yet and I wont be ordering again after this experience! Ordered 2 weeks ago on ‘preorder’ for Christmas dispatch. I’ve now been informed 2 weeks before Christmas(!) 🫣 that what I’ve ordered isn’t in stock in the size and a simple “sorry do you want anything else” 🙄😂 I’m now without an outfit for my baby girl and extremely disappointed at how this has even happened. How unorganised can you be on pre-orders? I’ve responded back to request the full order cancelled as it’s pointless sending me a bib and bow to match an outfit you now can’t ship out to me. Unacceptable.
Awful, cheap material, complete rip off
I ordered an emerald tartan sleepsuit for my 8 month old for Christmas to match some family pyjamas we have sourced elsewhere (thank god!). I emailed customer service about delivery times and had a swift and polite response, and delivery was quick. Unfortunately this is where the positives end.
The sleepsuit arrived and i was totally shocked by the poor quality, it is honestly like fabric you’d receive from shein for £4, and it has cost me almost £40. It is shiny, sweaty material which when stretched parts the pattern to expose white underneath. Really really cheap nasty stuff. On inspecting the label it states made in Vietnam, and I am since told by the owner that this is where they have everything made. The label also does not match the fabric stated on the website, and the sizing is so off. I ordered 12-18 months and the item is the same size as a 9-12 months sleepsuit from next, nowhere on the website is there any guidance to say the items come up small. The item is not fit for purpose as it is in my view not fit for safe sleep, as I am afraid my baby would overheat given the fabric.
I contacted customer service which is what I feel is right before leaving negative reviews. I made clear I would like to do this to give her the opportunity to resolve the issue before I leave any review. I also made clear that I understand as the item is personalised, I am not entitled to a refund usually, but I expressed my concerns and unhappiness with the quality, and asked if she would be willing to do anything like a partial refund or anything like that as I felt the item was far too expensive for the quality, and of course is not fit for it’s intended purpose. All I received back was incessant ramblings about why they selected this type of fabric and people having different opinions when it comes to sleep wear (trust me, no one would like this material for 40 quid, it is horrible). She then ended the email telling me I am not eligible for a refund. Exchanging further emails I realised I was totally wasting my time, as the owner clearly does not care or have any aftercare skills, and does not think she should try to rectify anything for unhappy customers, she just accused me of deciding I didn’t like the item, which is not the case, my issue as I have always made clear is the quality and sizing of the material. I made clear I would be leaving a review to try and save others from feeling robbed, (as I do, the item is FAR too expensive for what it is, and something similar in quality could honestly be sourced from shein) and I was warned by her that I should think about the ‘accusations and tone’ I am using as, and I quote ‘it is not acceptable to tarnish a brand because you simply do not personally like the fabric of a product’. Basically if you have any taste, and you value your money, please don’t waste it with this company. I can only presume that they don’t have repeat customers, baffles me that they’re succeeding in such a competitive market with this unbelievably poor quality, high prices, and poor customer service. I can only think the laws around return of personalised goods are keeping them in business, with people like me left with no options. Please think twice before ordering, and if you do, do not do personalised on your first order so that you can return, as there is certainly no good will or concern for customer satisfaction at Clark and Beau!
THE WORST CHEAPEST MATERIAL
Avoid this brand at all costs. I waited THREE MONTHS for my order to arrive which is a set of Emerald Tartan Pyjamas that cost me over £150. When they finally turned up, I honestly thought it was a joke.
The quality is absolutely shocking. The photos online make the product look luxurious and festive, but what I received was the thinnest, tatty, cheapest-looking material I’ve ever seen. Genuinely the worst quality clothing I’ve come across. It feels like something you’d get from a bargain bin, not a brand charging premium prices.
To make things worse, the fit is completely off, nothing true to size, uncomfortable, and poorly made. For something marketed as high-quality family matching pyjamas, it’s a total scam.
And don’t even get me started on customer service. Appalling is an understatement. Slow replies, no accountability, no updates, and absolutely zero concern for how unacceptable this whole experience has been.
Save your money. This brand is all glossy pictures and zero substance. I wish I’d never ordered.
Terrible quality and customer service
I was really excited to receive the personalised Christmas pyjamas I ordered from Clark & Blue after waiting months for them to arrive. Unfortunately, the moment I opened the package, I was extremely disappointed. The adult and child sets are rough and uncomfortable, and the baby set feels more like Lycra than anything soft or cosy—completely unsuitable for an 8-month-old. For the price, I expected a far higher standard.
What made the situation even more frustrating was the response from customer service. Despite explaining the issues and how unsuitable the fabrics were, I was told they “can’t help” and that it’s simply a matter of personal preference. These items were meant to be special Christmas pyjamas for my little girl, and now I’m left with personalised products that we can’t use and only days to find alternatives.
Very disappointing experience overall—both in quality and in how my concerns were handled. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from Clark & Blue, especially if you expect soft, comfortable fabrics for children or babies.

Avoid - 3 months to receive order -
placed an order 3 months ago for a number of different items. I receive spam emails from the company constantly yet still no order! I chased a month ago and they responded that they were expecting to receive the items the same day, I am still waiting for my order 3 months on and some of the items were ordered for an event that has now passed. I’m worried it’s a scam at this point
