Great experience - Fire Nest were so welcoming and accommodating and most importantly, very patient with two people who'd never made any pottery before, let alone a Highland Cow! The fact that we both managed to make a Highland Cow is testament to their teaching. We had a really fun time and plan to take my friend's children to a summer workshop as we know they'd really love it.

This was an amazing class. Brandon gives you an overview of the history & meaning of Kintsugi balanced with a great sense of humour and light energy. My sister and I enjoyed it so much. It was a perfect birthday surprise. Brandon pulls out all the stops to ensure instructions are clear and concise. The space is also great. Highly, highly recommended! I’ll be back with daughter

I have done 2 different classes with them but the most recent one was resin vases and dried flower bouquet making which was brilliant. There are so many to choose from though, literally something for everyone. I can’t wait to try more.
The booking process is super easy, the communication is great and the teachers are fantastic. I would 100% recommend!

JinJin was very attentive and gave good instruction and was always ready to help. It was a lot of fun, and I was happy to receive a little more time to finish the details. We weren't being rushed and we had full creative freedom which was nice. It was also great that we got to come up with our own designs and that all materials were provided. The studio was huge and I loved the atmosphere. I highly recommend this class.

Had a fabulous beginner’s sewing machine class with Jenny. She was so good at explaining, being patient and making the one-to-one class fun and engaging. I can’t wait to book another class with her at Wimbledon Hobbycraft.

Have used Class Bento twice now and both activities have been well organised and great fun. Never a bad thing to come home with something you have made yourself as well

My son loved the stop motion animation workshop it was so engaging and the creative icebreaker at beginning was perfect for them. The pace moved so well for the group and it’s great they are building skills/a project over a number of weeks. The teacher was fab thank you.

Had a one on one e session with Alexx at the Paisley Hobbycraft store to learn the start up of Cricut and its Design app. Very helpful and will definitely be booking another session in the near future as I progress with my craft.

Disappointing experience, but Senior Management eventually did the right thing.

​I booked a soap-making workshop advertised as a 2-hour experience with botanicals, refreshments, and relaxing music. Instead, the session was cut to 1 hour, no botanicals, refreshments, or music were provided, and the final products were damaged due to poor packaging.

​Initially, I was told a full refund was not possible because the teacher "stood by her position" and I hadn't reported it within 4 hours. However, as the teacher kept the soaps to set and unmould, it was physically impossible to report the damage within 4 hours of the class.

Furthermore, as a neurodivergent person with ADHD, the rushed and chaotic environment made it incredibly difficult to challenge the instructor in the moment when the session was abruptly ended early.
​After my complaint, ClassBento advised that "the teacher had been made aware of the concerns raised, and they ensured that the listing had been updated to accurately reflect the workshop in its entirety."

However, I have checked the listing and it still falsely promises a 2-hour duration, botanicals, music, and refreshments. The only change made is an update around the handling of the soap. This suggests the platform is still allowing an inaccurate listing to remain active despite being notified of the discrepancies.

​After escalating the matter and pointing out clear breaches of ClassBento’s own Terms and Conditions (specifically Clauses 13.6, 13.8, and 20.5) along with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the platform did the right thing and issued a full refund.

​Advice to others: If your class is misrepresented, do not accept a "no" from the teacher or the first-tier support agent. Research your consumer rights, specifically Section 49 and Section 50 of the CRA, and hold the platform to their own terms.

I would not use ClassBento again.

I have downgraded this rating to 1 star because ClassBento’s response is a disappointing attempt to "PR spin" a clear legal failure.

​To clarify:
​The 48-hour resolution only happened after I was forced to research and quote their own Terms and Conditions (Clauses 13.6, 13.8, and 20.5) to them and request escalation.

​The Money-Back Guarantee: Claiming my conditions "were not met" is gaslighting. A session that is 50% shorter than advertised and missing all promised amenities is a textbook case for a refund under the Consumer Rights Act, which overrides any internal "4-hour" policy.

Despite requesting the teachers comments regarding this matter they failed to provide them.

​The Listing: As of today, the teacher’s listing still advertises a 2-hour duration, botanicals and refreshments, despite ClassBento claiming they have "ensured it accurately reflects the workshop." This shows a lack of integrity in their provider monitoring.

​A refund is not a "gesture of goodwill" when a service is not provided as described—it is a legal requirement. I am disappointed that ClassBento chose to use their public reply to defend a broken policy rather than take real accountability for the misrepresentation on their platform.

Christie was an excellent teacher. She was patient and made sure everyone was given the one on one time. The class was really enjoyable.

Booked a ring making workshop in London and had the best experience! Really easy booking process and a fantastic class. It's a great website to choose gift experiences for friends!

Great experience, good vibes, room is a bit hot during the hot months so dress accordingly, you have access to all the tools at the sink and an apron though it may not be mentioned to you. An array of lovely pottery to choose from and lots of paints and brushed, stencils etc. Would definitely recommend

A very interesting pastel painting workshop: was very relaxing and insightful at the same time

Perfume making class was brilliant. Really enjoyed it. Plenty of essential oils to choose from to make the perfume spray, linen spray and solid perfume. Useful background information as trainer was very knowledgeable. Will definitely consider the other courses on offer.

We had an amazing time. It was a birthday gift and we both enjoyed even more than we expected! We highly recommend this class !

Super easy to book, very smooth process and all information needed was easily accessible so had no questions.

This was a really intimate lovely tea tasting workshop, I was able to learn about history of tea and its origins, it was super insightful but also was great to understand types of teas there variations in taste, and how to properly brew different teas.
